We live 5 min away and Overlook is a great easy place to grab dinner in the Berkeley hills. The staff was quite knowledgeable on the beer on tap. And the atmosphere is relaxing and quiet. We're definitely making this a regular go to place for meals.
I have been a regular Tilden golfer since 2019 (especially on Tuesday nights...when the real pros come out!). The recent opening of The Overlook has been a fantastic addition to the course. They did a great job with the drink selection, with lots of local beers on tap. The outdoor space is so nice, with heat lamps and a fire pit. Very excited for the Outlook to finally open. The redesign is beautifully done, the layout in and outdoors is very spacious and accommodating, and the views are great.
I’ve been 3 times with my family and there’s something for everyone. While not particularly fancy on paper, everything we’ve tried has been good. The beers on tap are excellent.
