Really wish it was better! Atmosphere and location is absolutely fantastic. Always busy because of its location. It's cute but that's where it kinda stops. Way over priced for the quality being far lower than any other cafe in the Bay. Hojicha, matcha, chai, all taste like over sweetened milk and have no actual flavor of the tea. Fairly unkept looking bar area. Just not impressed at all for the kind of pricing and location I wish it was better. Staff is nice but drinks...
My favorite cafe in Berkeley! Vibes are immaculate, always busy (for good reason) but you can sit outside in lovely Strawberry Creek Park. Coffee is delicious, and I love the cheddar and scallion scones. I love to come here with a book and hang out in the park. Also there are always cute dogs!
