In the location of the former Nico's and if you're a long-term resident around here Chester cafe, the breakfast joint everyone here used to come to, Walnut tavern has totally beautified the inside, and while I was only able to get a drink because of time constraints their "Old Cuban" (basically a mojito with spiced rum), was excellent, and the people working there we're friendly and the place has an overall goodbye. I'll review it some more when I have time to have a full meal there. But I can already recommend the bar. Great drinks.

I don’t feel like - as an alcohol rep - I would bet my life they aren’t correctly using alcohol. Bombay sapphire has a definitive taste that was non existent in my $14 beverage.

I would give 5 stars, but the portion sizes are quite small for how much you're paying. I paid $40 for a steak and left with a half-empty stomach. No complaints otherwise; it's a great place to dine, especially if your appetite is not very large.

Ok community…we’ve got to keep this gem going! The food is perfectly prepared - fresh and delicious. The little indoor bar and the upstairs terrace with view are extra special. And the Nepali family who run the place are incredibly kind and capable.

The atmosphere of this place is cool and the food is beyond amazing. I don't think I've had anything here I disliked, I loved everything I had though. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant... one of my favorite places in Berekley.

We ate lunch on the rooftop deck. We were concerned it might be too windy, but it wasn't. The space was peaceful, the view was beautiful, the server was very friendly and prompt, and the food was delicious. We will definitely be back! We enjoyed the fettucine alfredo (the person who ordered this raved about it), the veggie panini and fries (outstanding fries), and the beet salad (I added the chicken and it was a nice full meal)

Dietary restrictions: I need to avoid gluten (non-celiac's sensitivity). There were good options for me on the menu. I also called ahead and the manager said he'd be happy to work with me, but that wasn't necessary.
