In the location of the former Nico's and if you're a long-term resident around here Chester cafe, the breakfast joint everyone here used to come to, Walnut tavern has totally beautified the inside, and while I was only able to get a drink because of time constraints their "Old Cuban" (basically a mojito with spiced rum), was excellent, and the people working there we're friendly and the place has an overall goodbye. I would give 5 stars, but the portion sizes are quite small for how much you're paying. I paid $40 for a steak and left with a half-empty stomach. No complaints otherwise; it's a great place to dine, especially if your appetite is not very large.

Ok community…we’ve got to keep this gem going! The food is perfectly prepared - fresh and delicious. The little indoor bar and the upstairs terrace with view are extra special. And the Nepali family who run the place are incredibly kind and capable.

Vegetarian options: Amazing veggie stew.

Dietary restrictions: They offer gluten free and vegetarian options
