Top Dog is a great place to get cheap hot dogs! I've frequently had good interactions with the hot dog maestros and can recommend this place for a classic tasty hot dog and characteristically Berkeley experience!

Place is cool it can be crowded on the weekend but it’s understandable because it’s a college area the people behind the counter get over stimulated sometimes and seem like they’re rushing you. The dogs are are great though the lemonade isn’t sweet and they offer good chilli and condiments

No wonder the hotdogs is great👌 the dog bun is great and the condiments are awesome. Very humble place and I highly recommend the sauerkraut on your hotdogs. It's my first time tying it and it didn't disappoint.

no-frills hot dog brick & mortar serving a variety of cheap and delicious dogs. a perfect snack after a night out! mine might be long but moves pretty quickly.

This place can be a hit or miss at times and it really depends on who’s cooking. On the evening of 11/4/24 I went here and it was kinda busy and only one guy was working. He was a cool guy however he was wearing the blue gloves handling dirty cash from the paying customers and then right back to the grill with same gloves on touching the bread rolls on the grill. That’s not safe food handling at all. When it’s two people working one handles the cash and the other handles the food on the grill and if it’s only one person he or she needs to changing gloves after touching cash and keep in mind it was a box of gloves right there for him.
