I tried their most popular order; it lack flavor or texture. The service girl in her teens didn’t know what she was doing. The interface for ordering was confusing and with few photos for what the food looked like it was impossible to know what you were ordering.
top boba
I love the milk teas from here, they're very strong, giving the boba a little more depth than simply sugar milk. This is a personal preference though, as many of my friends dislike the strength. I do also think that 100% sweet isn't too sweet, and I normally do 75%-80%.

Having tried all the boba spots near campus, TP Tea is objectively the best boba in terms of price, quality of tea, and preparation. They make sure all their drinks follow a strict standard and it reflects in the taste
I have always liked the fresh milk tea at TP Tea. I will go to Berkeley, San Mateo or Pleasanton store. I got an TP Rea branded eco-friendly cup from the Pleasanton store when it first opened, so I often use it to buy drinks here. However, the quality of the cup is not that good, so I bought a new cup when I traveled to Taiwan recently. The Pleasanton store was willing to take it but not here. They said they only accepted TP tea cups... I was disappointed. I really hope that you are willing to change the rules in the store and be willing to allow customers use their cups (I know that not many people in the US care about sustainability, but there are also many boba in the Bay Area that allow customers to use their own cups)

I never really liked boba, but TP TEA DELIVERED. I usually try new flavours every time I go, and they haven’t disappointed. Also, I feel like the amount of sugar you request can really make or break the taste of the drink, and service quality can vary depending on demand. Overall, really enjoy this place

I waited 30 minutes to get one drink. Was it worth it? No. The sweetness level wasn’t what I asked for. The boba balls turned pretty hard after a while and were not enjoyable. The girl attending me was not paying attention to my order as she had to clarify 3 times. The line is so long! Would not recommend.

The boba tea was pretty good, though definitely not one of my favorites.
‼️There were no milk alternative options.‼️
The space was small, a terrible ratio between the size and people. There is frequently a long line of people so it’s packed. The line advanced pretty slowly and there was nowhere to sit and wait. Definitely not good for wheelchairs or people who have difficulties standing for a while. Also not good for people in a hurry or for groups of friends. As I said before, the place is packed, the kitchen sounds combined with the talking makes it a bad environment to converse.
Dietary restrictions: ‼️NO milk alternatives‼️
Wheelchair accessibility: Small space, many people and long line.
Definitely NOT the best wheelchair accessible place.

I noticed a mouse in the hallway leading to the kitchen and storage area. The back door was wide open, and it seemed like the mouse was quite familiar with the space. I'm very disappointed because TP Tea used to be my favorite spot for boba and fries. I feel like the back door should at least be kept closed to prevent mice from easily wandering around the store.

This is one of the best boba place in Berkeley, it’s very close to the Southgate/sather gate of UC Berkeley. This place offer great variety of boba, some of them are nice, but some of them have weird taste lol. Whenever I visit this place, I always try the new variant, that’s why I ended up with the weird taste ones ? but yeah overall I like the boba, if you want a safe choice, just pick the original one. The price is a bit higher than other boba places. And yeah, They have 3-4 tables for seating area.
