Charged me $25 for panang curry to go. Can’t figure out how she came up with that price. Food is average with small portions. Won’t be returning to this place again.

Fried rice was so salty, the fried bananas were made with rotten bananas that were black they tasted nasty.

Good service, nice ambiance and the food was fairly priced. BUT the food was extremely mediocre that being said all I had was Duck n rice and the pad kra Pao. It was under seasoned and felt like no spice. The seasoning was very lacking (I know it's Thai food and they're usually heavy on the seasoning usually right? That's why even I was surprised)

Reasonable food at a reasonable price. I’ve tried several dishes here and they’re all pretty good.
This is not what I expected from them. Worse papaya salad that I ever had in my life. ????? please do not Oder papaya salad.
Food is ok not great. The restaurant needs a deep cleaning.

Delicious, authentic food, low-keyed, reasonable prices. The kind of place a Thai person would eat at on a regular basis in Thailand.
Vegetarian options: Vegetarian Pad Thai.

Ideally, I'd give this place a 2.5/5.Tuk Tuk Thai in Berkeley offers a quirky atmosphere, with a literal tuk tuk parked right inside the restaurant by the entrance. It's a conversation starter, for sure! However, the food itself didn't quite hit the mark for me.Quirky & Fun Vibes: The tuk tuk is definitely the highlight of the decor. It injects a touch of whimsy and sets the tone for a casual dining experience.Pad Thai Overload: I tried their signature Pad Thai with chicken. While the portion size was generous, the overall sweetness was a bit overwhelming. The "perfect blend" of sugar, tamarind, and lime juice leaned too heavily on the sweet side for my taste. It could have benefited from a bit more tang or savoriness.Saving Grace - Thai Iced Tea: The Thai iced tea was a bright spot. It was refreshing and flavorful, a classic done well. The Verdict: Tuk Tuk Thai offers a fun and casual atmosphere, but the sweetness of the Pad Thai might be a turn-off for some. The Thai iced tea was a saving grace, but overall, the experience landed at a 2.5 star review. If you're looking for a more balanced Thai flavor profile, you might want to explore other options.
A nice little local place. Sweet people; the food is decent and reasonably priced.
Service people were nice, dish was old, and made us feel sick ?

this place used to be one of my favorite places to eat in Berkeley. I haven’t visited it in a while but today I decided that I wanted some Thai food and I just happen to rememberTuk Tuk Thai their food used to be really fresh and tasty and flavorful and now it feels like everything has changed it’s not fresh it doesn’t really smell pleasant and it doesn’t have the fresh taste they used to. I feel like I kinda ate yesterday’s leftovers so that’s really disappointing. I think you guys should just try to serve food that’s not old and that’s fresh, because now I just don’t want to visit again which is disappointing because I love that place.
