It was just before 2PM and we wanted breakfast. That's why we decided to grab a bite to eat here. Seems they are open until 3PM and they serve breakfast every day. The inside dining area has many tables available and I can see them being busy during a brunch weekend in that neighborhood. We ordered cinnamon French toast with banana, a side of bacon and eggs. We also ordered a bacon croissant egg sandwich. For beverages we ordered a chai latte with an espresso shot and a regular latte. The food came out hot and quickly. I do love a breakfast croissant sandwich. The bacon was cooked just the way I like and the yolk was perfectly runny. I didn't try the French toast but my friend ate it up. This place isn't a fancy brunch spot but it's a hangout and they have really good food options for breakfast every day. I'm definitely going to try to go to brunch here one weekend.

This spot is absolutely amazing! Food was absolutely delicious and it was so unbelievably fast!!! The mimosas were huge!!!
Despite the negative reviews I decided to order from here on Uber Eats because not too many other restaurants nearby were open yet. I ordered the chicken curry with SPANISH rice (which I was specifically craving as I am sick), and here’s what I got.
Food is not restaurant quality at all, the curry tastes like a bad curry powder with frozen veggies thrown in. Chicken pieces were bad. Rice was NOT what I ordered.
I’ll leave it at that. Also, I’ve literally never left a review before on anything, this is my first one because that’s how disappointed I am.

The owners are very nice and polite, the place is always clean this is my go to breakfast spot and the food is great if you visit Berkeley must try this place you won't be disappointed
The worst service I’ve ever experienced! We came in for breakfast at 8 AM, and the staff was incredibly rude. Instead of a proper greeting, the lady just said, “What do you want?” When we mentioned we were there to eat, she told us to “sit anywhere” in the most unpleasant tone. We felt so unwelcome that we decided to leave instead. Avoid this place if you want to be treated with respect!

I've been trying to find a local replacement to Homemade Cafe since it closed. So I gave this place a try. The workers are nice, but stay away from the corned beef hash unless you like the canned stuff because what I got was definitely not made in house and if it was it resembled the canned stuff a lot. I'd also recommend not getting the home fries, the potatoes were cut different sizes mostly being too big so a good portion were under cooked, but then all that was added was very large pieces of onion that weren't caramelized at all. At least the over easy eggs were done well and the coffee was good.
I will go back to try other breakfast options but will steer clear of that one.

I ordered my food online and arrived at the time it said my food would be ready only for them to tell me that the cook was just started on my order. Then the lady told me next time to call the store because sometimes they don’t hear the online orders come in. I politely told her that’s not my job and to refund the order because I had to go. Nonetheless the food came out in what seemed to be record time and I enjoyed it but I’m not going back.
