Love love love this coffee shop - restaurant - bar! The interior is all eye catching (check out all the beautiful red wood in the bar). Convenient location right on Shattuck.

This spot is good! Fair prices, considerable portions and the employees are regularly helpful.

Had a reservation for dinner Saturday night before the Cal game...showed up and the place was completely closed! No attempts to notify me or even a sign on the door, so I had to scramble to find another place we could get into on a Saturday night. Be wary of making a reservation here.

The vibe at this spot is soooo Oakland. It's trendy, chic, organic, and modern. This was the first place I walked in on my first day visiting Oakland and it set the vibe for the rest of my trip. Inside there are tons of tables to set up shop and work. It was a cold day when I went so I ordered an Americano and organic chicken broth. I also grabbed toast wth the homemade strawberry jelly. There are so many affordable bites to choose from while you work and the staff is amazing.

I live in Oakland. It's a little bit of a effort to get over to Berkeley just for dinner. Especially since Oakand has so many great restaurants. I'm not good with traffic. And parking wrecks my nerves. So dinner better be worth the effort. I have never been disappointed at Western Pacific. Great pizza from a wood burning oven. Amazingly friendly staff. Cocktails off the chart. Great appetizers and salads. Everything fresh and local. But if you really want a treat, look over to the right of the menu. There are usually two or three entrees that usually get my attention. Last time I was there they had a pasta with pork ragu baked in the wood burning oven. Amazing! And if Charlie, one of the owners, is in the kitchen, you know you're going to have a great meal. Six stars from me!!

Cocktails are great. I'm not a tequila fan but the spicy tequila drink isn't bad. Favorite is the orange blossom, it tastes like a 50/50 bar.Who knew figs and prosciutto paired so well; sweet and savory. The pizza crust is excellent. The Rapini and sausage is my favorite. Great date spot.

The food and drinks and PW are incredibly delicious and top notch. Can't think of a better tasting meal in downtown Berkeley than right here. The grilled eggplant with watermelon, olives & ricotta salata and all their vegetable dishes make me fall in love w veggies all over. California dining at it's best. Drinks are amazing well balanced and tasty too.

Menu changes regularly, ingredients purchased at Berkeley Farmer's Market, flavorful, no extra seasoning needed. Wine list has improved since opening. Lucky to have it in Berkeley.

Am I Review #100!? I think I am [side eye emoji]. Anyway. This place is L E G I T. I've come here for coffee, brunch, and happy hour, and I've been over-the-moon for this place every time (looking forward to trying their burrata dish and pizza sometime)!! For brunch I forgot what the dish was called but it was a hash with braised short ribs with hazelnuts and pomegranate seeds. The flavor was multi-dimensional, and they got all the layers of textures just right. It was just a unique and tasty spin on a classic breakfast dish--I had it awhile ago but clearly I'm still thinking about it. For happy hour, they have dollar oysters (I'm obsessed and always looking for these kinds of deals--and it was p fresh here) and this amazing house tonic with a choice of liquor (recommended: gin). It's kind of a special drink because they use different herbs to infuse and complement the alcohol depending on what they're cooking that day, so in theory it'd be a different experience every time even if you order the same drink. The staff is so great. The owner is really fantastic to chat with, and Paloma is super friendly and attentive and thorough. If you ask a question and she doesn't know, she goes out of her way to find out and get back to you. Even though I wouldn't consider myself a regular at Western Pacific, I feel like I'm going somewhere where people are familiar with me and comfortable every time I go simply because of how amazing and community-oriented the people who work there are. And the cherry on top is the aesthetic. This place is thetty af with all the natural wood pieces they incorporate into the tables, booths, etc. You can totally buy out the restaurant for a party, and I can guarantee people will be buzzing about the vibe for a long time. 11/10 would recommend

Been to the restaurant/bar side 3 times in 3 months. Warm wood decor feels nice to be in, but my husband couldn't hear me over the music. Seems like that's a common refrain so I hope management takes it in.

This location has been a lot of things this current iteration of it is pretty good I really enjoyed my lunch there The service was quick and friendly however it was tough to tell where you should order as there was a restaurant side in the cafe side and the cafe is only open for lunch

Had a wonderful time here yesterday! Stopped by for drinks before a movie here and I'm glad I did. It was Happy Hour, and they had $3 Miller Lite beer which was a great deal, and $10 Margherita pizza. I opted to add pepperoni to the pizza and man it was delicious. Perfect size to share between two people, crispy crust, and yummy gooey mozzarella. The sauce was also quite flavorful and me and my boyfriend were very pleased with our experience here. Staff was also very attentive without hovering. In summary, great place to catch a bite or have a few drinks with friends, we will definitely be back next time we're in Berkeley!

I have now been here twice. The food has always been very good, probably one of the best places in downtown Berkeley right now. Their pizzas are some of the best in Berkeley, with excellent crust and cooked just right. But calling it just a pizza place would be selling the place short. Their other dishes have all been very good. They use interesting combinations of herbs and other accents that make pretty standard dishes much better than most restaurants. It is slightly on the pricier side of the '$$' range, but when I am looking for a place for a special occasion, I would gladly go here.
