We had such a wonderful Valentine's Day dinner at this restaurant! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and romantic perfect for the occasion. The food was absolutely amazing. The lobster ravioli was rich, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The short rib was incredibly tender and full of flavor definitely one of the best we've had. On the whole, Zino was good. The mushroom soup and beet salads were very good. The desserts were delicious. Main criticisms: my main dish, paella, did not taste good (seafood was a little off and the rice had too much tomato in it and not enough saffron); the steak dish had a "mushroom" that tasted bad. Service was fine.
When I looked on-line to make a reservation, it said that there would be two menus on February 14th....the regular menu and the Valentine's Day menu. However, when we sat down, we were handed the Valentine's Day menu so I asked about the regular menu and was told, "Oh, not today...." So there was a rather limited menu... We could not find an appetizer or salad that we liked...so we did not have that. My husband had the short ribs and he said they were tasty....
