I have enjoyed Indian food in many countries...even many times in India. This is the good & authentic stuff - enjoy!
We had a great evening celebrating our anniversary. Great quality food, nice ambience, excellent service. Friendly and pleasant interaction with the owners, who checked on us multiple times and also surprised us with a small celebration desert ! Parking at the back was easy. Would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a nice evening with great quality Indian food.
We had another excellent dinner this evening with delicious food and customer service is impeccable. This restaurant is a hidden gem in Beverly Hills and we highly recommend dinner here. We will be back soon.
For the past decade, this restaurant has been my go-to spot for gatherings with friends and family. I've always recommended it as one of the best places for Indian food in downtown LA. However, after tonight's experience, I will NEVER return, bring guests, or recommend it again. I brought out-of-town guests here because I had spoken so highly of it. Toward the end of our meal, my friend's toddler accidentally got some spicy paneer in his eye and started crying. As we worked to calm him, the owner's wife, Harveen, initially came over to console him. When we explained the situation, she appeared understanding. My friend immediately took his son to the bathroom to rinse his eyes, and though the child returned visibly upset, we continued soothing him. Since it was a cold night, we took turns stepping outside with him to calm him down before returning inside. Just as we were about to request the check, my friend was heading out with his son when the owner, Deep, abruptly stopped him and said, "You are disturbing the crowd. Please leave, take him outside, and don't come back." We were stunned. My friend took his child outside, outraged by the treatment we had just received, I immediately asked for the check. The owner's wife then tried to justify their behavior, saying, "He's been crying for a long time; you should stand in the back with him or go outside." But the comment that truly shocked me was when she added, "Americans take their kids outside when they cry." This was not only an offensive assumption about our citizenship but an outright racist remark—especially coming from one Indian to another. I've hosted large family gatherings here before with 20-30 people, and while we can be loud, I have NEVER been asked to leave for noise—until now. I have never been treated so disrespectfully in a restaurant. The owner has lost my business. It's shocking that so many celebrities have dined here, yet it's clear that appearance matters.
Very overpriced, all I got was a two plates & two drinks. The portions were very small, & I mean very small & I spent nearly $200. The food was truly nothing special at all. The service was the worst part. I had a reservation & wasn't seated for another 20 minutes. Once seated just to get our server to us was difficult & it took a long time. Every time I waved them down I was met with rolling eyes & very short responses. When cleaning our table up a bit they grabbed my girlfriends utensils & just shoved it off her plate onto the table. The wait for the food was a very long time as well. Same goes for the drinks. I had a lime on my beverage which due to the server (who I imagine was the owner) fell off my drink because of his aggressive placement on the table, he grabbed it with his hands & put it right back in my drink. The ambiance was nice, but it wasn't worth my night spent at this restaurant. I don't recommend it truthfully.
The food was really the worst i have ever had in my life. The only thing that was really good about this place was the ambiance.
We have dined at Bombay Palace a couple of times. We'd do it more often if not for LA traffic. Simply put, beautiful restaurant, attentive service and TERRIFIC FOOD!
We loved our experience at Bombay Palace! The food was incredible and the owners took extra special care of us on Diwali night. We will be back many more times!
If you order alcohol and you don't like it no refunds exchanges or returns. Nice ambiance, hostess polite. Do charge 20% tip automatically. Bus boys and waiters could have approached for water refills more often. Overall good experience. Food was good.
Bombay Palace is the best Indian Restsurant in Los Angeles. The owner and his wife are so cool and so kind. Located on wilshire on the south side there is plenty of of street parking on side streets and after 7pm in front of restaurant. You can also park behind the restaurant. Truly a remarkable and perfectly portioned service of exceptional food where every spice and note is cooked with love.

Vegetarian options: The lady judged us because we were wearing shorts and slippers. She kept on looking at feet instead of greeting. Attitude issues with the lady (owner) . Not at all welcoming & very rude! Really sad to see unwelcoming indians !
Opening restuarants abroad in niche places shouldn’t take away the basic values.
Really enjoyed this place! Went for a last minute date night and it was perfect. The interior is beautiful, the staff is so friendly, and the food was actually delicious. Definitely going back!
The server didn’t look at me when I ordered but then asked my husband what my spice tolerance was. It was weird and rude. When she returned to the table she asked my husband how his drink was but again didn’t want to acknowledge me. The food was fine but not great. This place is overpriced.

This is the best Indian Restaurant in the area. We always enjoy our dinners here. The food is a step above the other Indian Restaurants in LA. It's more expensive, but worth the money. Beautiful atmosphere. Try it now!
Nice Indian restaurant in Beverly Hills. I loved the decoration, the attention and the food. It’s family owned and operated, so the flavors are fresh and authentic. I ate much more than I should, but the food was so yummy I couldn’t stop ?. I ordered Chicken Tikka Masala, white rice and garlic naan (the best I’ve ever had).
I had a rental, which I parked right in front of the restaurant and didn’t have to pay fpr parking, because it was after 7pm.
The price is on the mid-high end, but the plates are shareable (at least what I ordered). I’ll be craving their dishes back home!
