I had lunch at Nerano several years ago and enjoyed it. I went back with a friend yesterday and was not disappointed. We both had pasta for lunch, which we both agreed was delicious. I had the Linguine Alla Nerano which was fantastic!!! The service was great and all the staff were friendly and polite. Will definitely go back again.

We have been coming here since they opened and Patrick was the GM. During a prior visit we had a fabulous bottle of reasonably priced wine from France and I sought to have it again recently. This request sent out the sommelier to our table. They did not have my requested bottle so I began to peruse the wine list. She appeared at our table with 6 bottles clanking and the wines were not too related to my request. Our group overheard the next table say "Look, she is still dragging those bottles to the tables". Our hint that the Sommelier was giving a hard sell. I asked about one bottle and asked the price, $495. It was not close to my budget of $200. She then pushed another bottle that was again far out of my price range. This time when I said No thank you, SHE ROLLED HER EYES and MADE A FACE. I told her I wanted to glance at her wine list so she left. My friend went up to the restroom and bumped into her. She stuck her tongue out at him, just bizarre. I ordered a Brunello in the $200 ranged and as she brought it over, she said to my male friend "If she would have taken the Rhône, I would compted your champagne. Her comment alone was offensive, but even more offensive that she directed it at the male - assuming that he was paying the check. She was wrong on so many levels. The experience was so bizarre and poor that we will not be coming back anytime soon. It is such a pity because the food is divine, the servers are lovely but this Sommelier is unwell and wholly inappropriate
Food and wine was good, but not worth the price tag. They charge fine dining prices (and serve fine dining-ish portions) and we didn't think the food was THAT good. Nice setting and good service.

This was a favorite for many years but it must have new managers; the menu has completely changed, our delicious shrimp and avocado salad is gone, and the prix fixe menu has no fish items with no substitutions, so we ordered two endive salads with salmon, two glasses of wine and one order of foccacia and it was $200! Coupled with a $15 valet charge, this is no longer a go-to for these ladies who lunch.
Nerano is an upscale casual spot for great food. Sat at the bar with a friend and had a great meal guided by our friendly bar tender/waiter. Sea salt focaccia with whipped ricotta cheese, tuna crudo, and homemade ravioli stuffed with whipped artichoke made for a delicious meal (with a side of smashed Yukon potatoes of course). Highly recommend if you are in or near Beverly Hills.
From the moment we entered we felt welcomed. Oliver greeted us with a warm smile Loris brought us to our table. At first we thought she was the hostess, then she was introduced by our server Donavan, as the Sommelier. Proudly wearing her pin. She oozed with pride and enthusiasm for our wine pairing. And served generous tasting pours for us. We then learned that she was trained and educated by our first cousin Michael Jordan, one of only 15 in the world,Master Sommelier educator. Both wines Loris recommended were perfect. We shared the large Tomahawk Steak with delicious sides. And the Paccheri Pasta Everything was perfect for an early Rainy New Year's Eve dinner.
Bad experience as not like it used to be. Mediocre food at best and for what it is, way overpriced
Dined here for the first time tonight- food and service was great.
Fantastic wine list.
What really compelled me to leave a review though was their sommelier, Loris. She had amazing wine recommendations and the best vibe. So fun and cool and really knows her stuff. Bought a glass of Merlot she happened to have on special that night and loved it. She 100% made my night- hope you catch her when she’s there cause she’s the best.

My wife and I decided to try Nerano after hearing about it on the news and from the moment we sat down, it was clear this place is something special.
We began with the housemade focaccia and crispy provolone—both outstanding. Simple, thoughtful and deeply satisfying antipasti that set the tone for what followed. For our mains, we shared the artichoke ravioli, the Caesar salad and the paccheri salsa piccante. Every dish was beautifully balanced and full of character. The flavors were bold without being heavy, refined without feeling precious.
Truly, we haven’t had Italian cuisine of this caliber since visiting Rome and Nerano absolutely stands shoulder to shoulder with that memory.
The service deserves its own praise. Our sommelier was exceptionally knowledgeable and guided us to the perfect Chianti Classico Riserva, elevating the entire meal without ever feeling performative or rushed.
We enjoyed it so much that we returned soon after with friends and somehow the experience surpassed the first visit. That kind of consistency is rare. Desserts sealed the evening—the panna cotta and tiramisu were exquisite, hitting every note you hope for and then some.
The ambience is elevated yet warm, elegant without pretense. I could go on, but Nerano is best understood firsthand. A true hidden gem in Beverly Hills and yes—we already have reservations to return.
Highly recommended.

They remembered us - even our water preferences - even though we had only been there once a month ago
Mushroom pizza was salty for the price. Drink was meh. Atmosphere was nice and servers really tried to upsell you at every turn. Wouldn't return.
The food was vastly overpriced and not attractively served. Plates used were too small. But seriously, branzino at $72 is unconscionable and ridiculous ,And serving it splayed open slopping over the end of the plate because the head and tail were left on was ugly. Just plated on some tomato sauce. No vegetable either. Have to order separately at $16 a pop. Ugh. I had the pappardelle with mushrooms which was gummy and lacked flavor. A small portion served in a tiny bowl making it look and feel that much smaller. For $40 it should have been spectacular. And the pasta did not look like Pappardelle . Cut up?? Would have been nice with Malfadine. Sigh. How about a dinner salad of arugula, pecorino cheese and pine nuts? I think. That was $34. !! Way too much. I do not care if the chef has 5 Michelin stars, it is just too much. Even in my most expensive French restaurant, Marche Moderne, I do not pay that. Not even close. I love Italian food and I have been to every high priced one in this city. I have never seen prices like these. SO, look elsewhere for your Italian delight. Or better yet, just go to Toscanova in the Century City Mall and get the same food for half the price. They are just as charming. :-)) On the plus side, the space is lovely and the staff very friendly. We were poured a glass of Prosecco when we were seated. Nice touch. Unfortunately, I will not be back here as the value it totally lacking.
Nerano used to be one of our favorite go-to restaurants. They changed the menu and the 4 of us had trouble finding something we liked. The order came out completely wrong. They served my husband's main course while we had our salad. The apologized and made excuses, but we will never go back.
Friendly staff and wonderful food.
