First time at Ocean Prime to try the DineLA menu. Everything was so good, the service was above and beyond. I highly recommend Ocean Prime and would come back. Thanks Chad and Ocean Prime Team for taking care of us.
French onion soup & house salad were both flavorful but rather small in portion. Sea bass is a delicate fish, it was cooked nicely, and thankfully paired with a delicious mashed potato and veggies mixture that would otherwise have made the blandly spiced fish dish fall flat. Warm butter cake was decent, similar to a warm butter cake anywhere else. Five layer carrot cake has been consistently delectable. Staff were all attentive and gracious, we might've enjoyed them more...
The best dining experience I've ever had. Server was attentive and answered any questions we had without making us feel “out of place”. Prices are what they are, but it is extremely worth it. Food was insanely good. I couldn't recommend this place more. The only thing we would pass on next time would be the tater tots.
