Overall, this was a pleasant Thanksgiving experience. The food was good, but portions were on the smaller size. (The dessert we did not care for.) We were surprised as a table of 2 to be forced into a 20% automatic tip. We had a really kind waiter and all staff were very friendly, which made it a pleasant experience.
Good toast and decent breakfast. Nice vintage diner feel. The staff were very kind.

Viviane is a little gem, be it for breakfast, lunch or a cozy dinner. Today, breakfast with friends was in the agenda. Food was fabulous and the service five star. The pancakes are out of this world delicious...the eggs Benedict and roasted potatoes were perfection. The other two ordered a simple omelet, fruit and some sort of a huevos tortilla situation. All loved their choices and our waiter, Jason made the morning get together exceptional. Cannot wait to return to the Avalon next month and host my friends at Vivienne for a repeat performance.
Love the ambiance. When I dine there and am seated by the pool, I feel like I'm on vacation. Until the meal is over, and I have to return to real life. Usually, I ask for the sauce on the hamburger to be on the side. I didn't this time, and I deeply regretted that decision. The burger was so sloppy it fell apart, and finally, it was too difficult to eat. I had to ask for two extra napkins because my hands were coated with sauce. Too much sauce!!! But I love the sweet potato fries.
I have had the charcuterie at Viviene‘s in the past. It was lovely. This visit was happy hour. The board that came was a joke. Everything looked like it was was going to used for something else. Shredded cheese, tiny cubes of Bland cheese, with jam dribbled on it were cramped on a tiny board. My friend got a cosmopolitan. It was pink, not red looked more like grapefruit juice. The waiter was kind and brought a side of cranberry juice. It was very watered down. Sadly, it seemed to me like they lower the price and the quality at the same time. That's not right!
Vivianne is my go-to spot for West siders to meet East siders. Great setting. Good food, lovely service, free valet and good wifi. What else do you need?
Great place for a relaxing meal by the pool. Also great for meetings

Nice restaurant inside a boutique hotel in Beverly Hills. Salads, burgers, chicken, fish, pasta on offer. The mezze plate and pear tart were especially delicious

Portions were generous --unfortunately too hot to sit outside which is where i had wanted to sit and where is sat last time i was there. Valet parking is free and that is a perk

I loved being at Viviane, such a chill place next to the pool to have some food and drinks.
An amazing dining experience. Food was perfect, atmosphere, music, service. It had it all! :) Will def come again.
We had very bad service for breakfast (grump waiter and multiple incorrect orders) and good service at the bar in the evening. The food is average but the pool area is beautiful

It's alright, watch out for the 5% wellness surcharge. Would only dine if staying at this hotel. Staff is nice, food is good.

Brunch was terrific from exceptional breakfast burrito featuring golden Klondike potatoes, a frittata with spinach and mushrooms, and huevos rancheros with house made spicy sauce. Oh, we also had the eggs Benedict which were perfect. Never a bad meal at this converted apartment building into a boutique hotel, and it's clean and quiet and not a scene. A hidden BH gem!
