Big Bear Bowling Barn

The bowling alley itself was really nice, but the customer service was horrible. The workers here are very rude and do not make it a fun experience. It was our first time here so we had questions on lane rental pricing, they seemed bothered by it. My brother came in with a drink and they dont allow outside drinks, one of the guys came over and very aggressively grabed the drink from my brothers hand before saying anything. He could have just told him to throw it away, there was no need to be rude and aggressive. The owner doesn't even care, I see reviews stating the same thing and no response to them. I will never come back again.

Fun place for kids and adults. Its got nice lanes and fun arcade and games.

Tourists are NOT welcome. We went for my husband BDay and all we heard from the old man was No to everything. It was 4:00 in the afternoon and he said nothing was available for the rest of the day. Very rude, he shouldn't be working with that attitude.

This bowling alley exceeded all my expectations. I didn't visit it until a year or so after moving here, and oh man... I was blown away. Their arcade is absolutely fantastic, especially for such a small town as this. And the lanes are very modern and exciting, something I didn't even see back when I lived in major cities. It's well worth visiting if you enjoy bowling, or if you want to blow a few hours in an expansive and interesting arcade! They also have a full bar, which is a great place to hang out before or after the other activities.

The bowling is fantastic, especially during their nightly Glow Bowling sessions where the black lights and music turn the lanes into a party! They have a huge arcade full of games, and you absolutely have to try the new Virtual Reality (VR) experience; it's a blast.
When you get hungry, their full-service grill is serving up great food like their awesome pizza. And for the adults, the Alley Oops Sports Bar has a full selection of drinks to enjoy while you bowl or catch a game. Whether you’re a family, a couple, or a group of friends, The Bowling Barn is where the fun is at!

10 out of 10 ABSOLUTELY highly recommend took the family down for a few games of bowling as well as some video games and we all had an absolute blast! Places super nice and the employees were very helpful and friendly. If you were up in Big, Barry should definitely stop by.

What an amazing bowling alley. In a cool building that looks like a big red barn, completely renovated. Beautifully resurfaced lanes, spectacular video screens and graphics. Cosmic bowling was super cool and immersive. They play the best music with the music videos playing on big screens. Music for everyone - music from today, the 90s, 80s, and 70s. They have a helpful, nice staff and comfortable retro seating and decor. I appreciate that they have maintained the nostalgic 50s bowling alley theme. They have these really cool wall wraps that look like a log cabin complete with bears and a lake view, fitting the Big Bear theme. They have state-of-the-art arcade games, a lot of them, and an epic VR gaming room. You could spend the whole day there; have a great date night or celebration. Food is spectacular too, with lots of options made fresh to order. Wonderful apple cider donuts.

This is by far one of the best bowling alleys we have seen. We love that there is a bar and pool table area, game area, VR area and food along with your bowling. We had a blast and the flatbread pizza was great too. And my old fashioned was delicious.

What a great time! I love this bowling alley! Fantastic visuals and light shows everywhere. Very many arcade games and even a virtual reality area. Before you start bowling you can snap a few pictures on their screen of yourself and they implement them in the funny graphics and you can watch while you’re bowling. So much fun! They play some good music as well! It was $79 for the hour so it’s not cheap but really worth it. Got two games in. All the staff was very friendly. Will definitely be back!

Staff was rude and lied about 1hr wait time. I left and had a better time eating at the wyatts
