We had our AYSO team party there, the pizza is sub par and the customer service is ridiculous... they threatened to shut down lanes without refund if there were non bowler parents in the bowlers benches area.(of a soccer team party)... we made several calls to them to arrange times and lanes with different answers every time, in the end we ended up paying for 15 shoe rentals and 3 lanes all at once, on the spot, we got put in a now or never situation.... all in all we had fun but it wasn't a super great experience as a parent and co-cordinator.

We thought this place was great. One day it was raining and we went to the bowling barn. It was packed as you could imagine because of the weather, but we waited 45 minutes for our lanes. This place is really modern and has, so many things to do. Lot of TV screens and videos and the lanes are nice and clean. They really take care of this place and we thought it was great. They have food and drink, video in arcade games, and of course bowling lanes. We ordered the pizzas and thought they were really tasty. The staff was pretty good and they were helpful when we asked questions. We would totally recommend this place for somebody who wants to stay indoors rather than enjoy the great outdoors at big bear.

The website only says open 10-10. I tried to take my 4yo bowling at 4:30pm after checking the website, arrived to an empty bowling alley, only to be told we can't bowl until 8:30pm. If there are dedicated league hours that prohibit the public from bowling, please clearly provide that information on your website.

Wow! What a fantastic high tech bowling alley. It has one of the best big screen displays that goes all the way across the lanes. It's great and I have never seen something like this before even in big cities.
We went with a group and had a great time. The staff was very friendly and the food and drinks reasonable. Everything was clean and we can't wait to go back again. Thanks Bowling Barn for a fun evening!

My home town bowling alley is pretty solid and sized pretty similar if not smaller but they don’t pack people in like this place had a huge rude and loud party in my booth area with me and the rolling area was super slick and the bowling shoes provided helped nothing at all i almost fell every single roll causing crappy bowling for me and my partner if your going and you don’t care about the game much then it’s fine but for low to high experience bowlers it’s a hard to be able to bowl properly when you slide 6 inches to a entire foot forward in your rolling technique But the staff were very nice and I used the arcade while waiting for a lane to open up for me and it was not bad

Very rude employee. We called earlier and asked when the league is over and they told us over the phone to come early cause the league ends early. We got here at 8:15 and a rude employee told us with very rude tune no we have to wait longer even though 6 lanes are open. Honestly worst customer service and experience not worth coming here on your trip.

After reading the comments regarding the staff, and noticing the “Bowling Barn” only responds to positive comments, i’ll be shocked if I get a response to this.

The old man with the pony tail is extremely rude. This is not the first complaint about him either… read the other reviews. This man would stare at us bowl, looking for a reason to shut our lane down or kick us out. Our group got blamed for a mechanical issue and that started an argument. Throughout the argument, that man was not maintaining professionalism and was being very passive aggressive. Get rid of this guy.

Bowling was cool though, staff sucked.

I think it’s ridiculous that this place exists here and they don’t change their business model to allow more freedom for the customers. Terrible that I won’t be bowling while I’m here thanks to being only near this terrible establishment. Will not be supporting their broken business.

A great place for the family to spend time. Great atmosphere and clean location as well.

If I could I would give them 0 stars. They had us move because they wanted to put a different group there. Also the older man that’s working there shouldn’t be allow to be around kids! He yelled at my son for no reason in front of everyone. People just stared at us and totally embarrassed us.

The older men should really look into retirement. And the owner of this place should really look into hiring better staff members!

We went there to play the arcade games. We saw the reviews about the claw games and we wanted to check it out. It was really overpriced. $10 gets you 20 credits. Most claw games are 8 credits. $4 a try and the claws are set so you cannot win. The cheapest arcade game was a racing car game for 4 credits. We were disappointed. $54 buys you 3 hours of gaming at Dave and busters plus prizes. $30 bought us 15 minutes of a few games. Not worth it.The kids enjoyed the bowling. 1 hour of bowling = 40 something dollars. This place is a tourist trap.
