“My partner and I stopped in tonight for the first time and had such a wonderful experience! They had so many wine and beer options, as well as some great ciders and hard seltzers, and the food was incredible! We are charcuterie fans, and their offering of the meats/cheeses/olives/fruits and nuts/etc. served inside a soft pretzel was phenomenal! The staff was so friendly and helpful, and they're dog-friendly, so our sweet girl got to come along and join the fun with us! We saw that they host a lot of music and art events, and can't wait to go back for those!”

“Glad to see Sandy's is back and the food blew our minds! We had actually wanted to get Murrays but they were jam packed and not accepting take out orders. We drove around and saw that Sandy's was open again. The food was incredible. Had the fish & chips, spicy chicken and slaw sandwich and an order of onion rings. Best of each we've had in a long time. Next time we're in big bear we will definitely be back at Sandy's!”

“It’s my parents and I first time visiting Big Bear. We met a fellow tourist who said Get the Burger has the best burgers he’s ever tried, so we decided to try it out for lunch. It was a pleasant surprise when his statement became true to us too! The food is delicious, and the old school style to the establishment is fitting. The employees were kind and helpful. A five star experience indeed!”

“Absolutely delightful! This deli is superior and offers excellent quality cold cuts and fresh made salads. The sandwiches are served on marble rye—with a large selection of meats including many varieties of wurst, Black Forest ham, salami, smoked Turkey, pastrami, and more—including creamy Swiss cheese, lettuce and tomato. The mustard they serve is so good and the meal includes a hard boiled egg, sliced tomato, choice of a delicious deli salad and a pickle. After one bite of the sauerkraut, my mouth thought “yum, delightful.” Old German Deli in Big Bear is located on the edge of the Village with a great selection of sandwiches and brats. Authentic German delicacies, sausages, soups and pastries. Imported European grocery products. Expect to find a casual, walk-up ordering counter and a couple indoor tables in the market area for seating. The outdoor patio with fire pit overlooks Big Bear Blvd. near the entrance of the Village—a nice location to enjoy one of their special selections of imported beer choices.”

Their salads are fresh & tasty, just like I love it. Every meal is worth every penny. During my vacation, I went 3 times out of 4 nights to their restaurant. I highly recommend you go to Gaby's.”

“When I was California I lost my backpack with wallet all cc money and DL. I was at Big Bear lake. The beginning of our trip. Well the owner of Big Bear Brewery found me on FB messenger mailed my backpack with all its belongings. Even the cash. Good people do exist Richard thank you! I encourage everyone to try Big Bear Mountain Brewery. The Ruben sandwich is the real deal!”

“The only reason I recommend them is because the desserts are so good. The line to order was chaotic, not very orderly. The girl took my order , rang me up and handed me my treats. I walked out with my friend and decided to check we had everything. We were shorted 1 thing. My friend went back in to get what she was shorted. Soon I went back in to see what was taking so long. The girl behind the counter took all of our treats back, checked a bunch of receipts and had another co worker help her. Then she asked me for my change back but barely remembered I paid with cash not a card. She had charged me correctly but forgotten an item. FINALLY got the correct treats so we took it and left. I drive 50 minutes home and open my bags. Guess what, I’m now missing something. After all that, the incompetent girl still messes up and shorts me. I never write bad reviews but driving all the way home to find you don’t have everything you paid for is such a bummer”

“Our waitress Savannah, and chefs Bebe and Nate (I hope that's his name) were not only phenomenal in service, but amazing chefs. My fiance and I absolutely LOVED the chicken picata, lasagna, the parpadelle Bolognese. Honestly down to the cocktail waitress Lacy during our wait for the table being so friendly and spot on with her choices in pre meal drinks. ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING about this place is amazing! My a fiance and I came here twice on our trip to big bear and plan to make this place a regular stop!”

“If you’re looking to get married, or a venue for a large gathering I would recommend Santana Mavericks 1000%!! We just had our wedding here on the 19th. Susana, and her team outdid themselves. They took care of all of the decor, set up, food, and clean up. They completely exceeded our expectations, and made the day incredibly special for us. The views are incredible, and the atmosphere was so romantic. We had the most amazing wedding day, and I can’t thank Santana Mavericks and the staff enough. The food was incredible, and all of our friends and family had the best time.”

“Casual dining. You order at the front counter, then grab a table. Indoor area has two large tables for big groups. Has outdoor eating area as well. Large portions. Most entrees can fed two people. The ribs were tender, the burrito was huge. Service satisfactory.”

“I live here in big bear I have ordered the teriyaki chicken sandwich no bread 6 to 7 times never has it has it had cheese so how would I know it had cheese I didn't look at menu because I just new they had it so tonight it had cheese on no biggy I thought I can just pull the cheese off oh no cuz the whole dinner was soaking in 2 inches of grease their response is well it has cheese on so basically too bad...we go their so much they new my husband's name just by telling them what I ordered...but no more they make so much money off non locals they could care less about loyal customers I'll take my money else where not sure where cuz nobody really cares any more pictures in comments”

“Walked over from the Holiday Inn
and grabbed lunch to go on 4th of July. There was one lady there doing it all --cooking, taking payments, waiting tables. She was working hard and with a friendly attitude. Food was really good. Got 2 burritos and a kids meal for a little over $30. (I paid twice as much for breakfast at a place that wasn't half as good.) I would eat here again.”
