Loving the Ice cream it’s good value and great tasting. We have come back to it again and we found it so good
Was looking online and saw pictures of the sourdough bread and I called the store and they don't sell bread anymore. They should remove those pictures. Because I was interested in purchasing sourdough loafs, since they don't have that I feel like it's a little bit of false advertisement, I call them, they said. They don't know when they're gonna get Em in, because the bakery that they were getting Em from, they can't get no more. So, too bad looked like a nice place

Ellie's Ice Cream & Bodega in Big Bear is a hidden gem and a total gem with a cozy, stylish aesthetic. The shop offers absolutely delicious Umpqua ice cream with lots of flavors to choose from, including non-dairy options like cookie dough, as well as interesting grocery items like imported candy. The matcha drink, made with ceremonial matcha, is described by many as excellent, smooth, flavorful, creamy, and earthy, and is called the best matcha in Big Bear. Some visitors, however, found a specific fig matcha to be pale and lacking in flavor.
The service is outstanding from start to finish, with staff that is really great, friendly, welcoming, kind, and knowledgeable, making guests feel at home and the experience even better. The ambiance is amazing and the vibe is busy and welcoming. Alongside ice cream and matcha, the shop also serves yummy drinks like an iced vanilla latte and offers food such as sourdough bread. With its delicious treats and outstanding service, Ellie’s is a must-try and definitely worth a visit.
