“We've eaten here many times over the last 7 years or so. We've tried a lot on their menu, we haven't been fans of any of the food besides their pizza and garlic parmesan fries, that's their specialty foods for sure! I love that they will make me a crust-less pizza in a pan. We come here every time we visit Big Bear. We love us some Saucy Mamas!“
“A great neighborhood establishment, with 5/5 food options and fantastic selection of drinks! We were so impressed by the variety on the menu and kids meals for the littles was much appreciated. The service was great, and food came out quick and hot. Burgers are amazing! They have two pool tables and an arcade too. My kids had the best time. We will be back soon!“
“The customer service here is next level. Tanya is one of the nicest people I have ever talked to in a restaurant. She was extremely welcoming, gave us some of her favorites for food, and continued to check on us throughout our meal to make sure we were satisfied. The other girls working (Alicia, Susie, and Kat) were great as well. The guys behind the bar were friendly and had some great recommendations as well. There wasn't a live band but they played great music. I would love to check it out again when there is a band and dancing. We had the smokehouse pizza, cheeseburgers, the tri tip, fried pickles, and stuffed jalapeños. The food was good!“
“This is hands down my favorite restaurant and BURGER in Big Bear! Cash only, in an effort to keep prices low, and boy are the prices a steal! Their specialties are burgers and sandwiches, and they have fantastic homemade sides including potato salad, macaroni salad, and a balsamic coleslaw. You can get beer / wine for ~$3/4 per glass, and pitchers offered as well! It’s family owned and run, the waitress & cook are the owners, I believe! It does have limited indoor seating, but they turn over tables quickly, and there’s lots of room for outdoor seating in summer / if you have your warn gear on in the winter. The building is old, and the seating is picnic table style, so there is some aging. The decor is hilarious vintage Big Bear in the best of ways, a legitimate version of what an Applebee’s tries for. Families welcome. To combat an early review on the cleanliness… 1. I’ve been here many times and I was not aware they even severed French fries? Never mind how “greasy” they are. Also, you’re mad that food that had been deep fried is greasy? Hmm… 2. I’ve seen into this kitchen many times (anyone can from the dining room) and while it’s not aesthetically pretty, it’s clean. I’ve worked in many kitchens, and it meets the standards.3. A bathroom is not a kitchen. They don’t cook in the bathroom. Complaint noted, but did you tell the staff or just troll about it on the internet?Parking: Shared a parking lot with a few businesses including the Market, but street parking nearby if full (which is rare).“
“During the Great storm of 2024 atop big bear mtn. We fought hard and long for a place to rest our weary cold and hungry bodies. After minutes of fighting through snow, people and cars to find a parking spot, we look up. There it was... THE BONE YARD BAR AND GRILL. In all of its glory. Our lives were saved. The corn bread goes hard. Ngl.“
“Very friendly staff, very family friendly. Also very accommodating to food allergies thanks to having a real in-house chef preparing everything fresh. This is a favorite spot of mine for Big Bear Lake.. Recommend the tacos, and my son loves the burritos. The shrimp is their specialty. My wife loves the chicken taquitos.“
“Best karaoke bar in So Cal! Come for a beer and you'll be here until 2am... can't explain how it happens, but inevitably that's what happens. No regrets, just good times all around. It's a local dive with surprisingly good food and cheap drinks.. 13/10 would recommend“
