Local Family owned sandwich and hamburger spot. Great tasting classic burger and COLD BEER!! Will definitely visit again when in Big Bear !
Love it! It's a must stop for us every time we are up the mountain.
Owners are the best. Chuck cooks the best burgers around and Heidi is always welcoming and gives phenomenal service. Chili is a staple too!
It is a locals place and we love it for that. Slightly off the beaten path. Tons of character. And the beer IS COLD! The deck is open in the summer and the wood stove is kicking in the winter.
What a groovy little spot! We stopped in after a ride at the ranch and enjoyed ourselves here. A lot of really kooky cool eye candy on the walls and everywhere. Cozy and small. Outdoor patio if it’s not too cold. Heidi and Chuck are the greatest! Very friendly and helpful and made our visit extra special. BJ’s has been around so long I find that fabulous!

Based on the reviews, BJ's is a groovy little spot with a cozy and small atmosphere. There is a lot of really kooky cool eye candy on the walls and an outdoor patio. The owners and staff are very friendly, helpful, and welcoming, making visits special. The prices are very decent, and the menu is pretty varied. Everything tried is really good. The Rueben sandwich was lovely and came out very hot, though it did not have nearly enough meat. The coleslaw has a nice twist with balsamic vinegar instead of mayo. The tuna melt with sliced tomatoes and pepper jack cheese on sourdough is phenomenal. The pastrami sandwich is really yummy and juicy. The chili is good, but watch out for the sides, which are extra vinagery. This place is a local favorite within the community.
