“I love this establishment, however i do not attend it anymore due to my poor behavior and inability to control my child like outburst.. i sometimes tell lies about the patrons of this establishment and it's employees because i cannot control my emotions but i actually still call regularly to see if I'm allowed to step foot in.. .. hopefully one day I'll be able to act like an adult and enjoy a cold beer amongst the people i like to stare at and giggle..“

Top Dog Tavern! Bar • $$
12131 14th St, Yucaipa - 9.24 miles

“This was my first time back in almost 4 to 5 months. As soon as you walk in, you notice a total change in the interior with new paint and shutters. New tables and chairs as well. My understanding is it changed owners or is co-owned by one of the staff there. So whatever she did make it look a lot more appealing and enjoyable. The service is still fantastic depending on what time of the day and week you go. Service might be a little delayed because they are busy. In my opinion, it looks a little better than just your average dive bar. It's more comfortable. My only gripe and disappointment are by 9 o'clock when the DJ starts playing, the music is so loud that you start to yell with the people you went with. When we sat at a table, I was the third person over and couldn't hear anything that was being said. The two people sitting next to each other had to yell at each other. Just be able to hear themselves. And so we had to leave because it was just ridiculously loud. It's not a nightclub so the music doesn't have to be loud. Unfortunately, we had to go to a bar uptown that has music but is not as loud. But I recommend this bar but you'll have to go to form your own opinion. Make sure you stay past 9 o'clock.“

“We had such a great night out at the Dogwood Tavern! We're in from out of town and were looking for a place to get drinks and dinner, and was open past 9pm. As we Googled restaurants, this was hard to find in the area. I came across Dogwood Tavern, and it seemed to check all the boxes, so we gave it a shot.I'm so glad we did! The food was great! Ingredients were fresh, and portions were large. They did not skimp on the avocado. They had a great selection of alcohol. Drinks were great! My lemon drop martinis were on point! The owner/bartender even asked if I liked them sweet or tart, which to me is always a good sign that the bartender cares that you get a drink you are going to like. And what a great atmosphere! I was pleasantly shocked by the amount of seating. They had booths, tables, and bar seating available. There were 2 billiards tables, a few other games, large tvs and a stage. We were in on a Monday night in early March, so it was the off-season, but there was a nice flow of customers. But I bet this place gets hopping on the weekends. The selection of music playing over the speakers was perfect! It was at a great volume to where I could still have a conversation with the people around me.If you are in the area, stop into the Dogwood Tavern; you won't be disappointed!“

Bear Claw Saloon Bar • $
24087 Lake Dr, Crestline - 8.88 miles

“Fun place!! If you want to meet some genuine local people from this town, Bear Claw Saloon (fondly known as "the Claw" by some of my friends here) is the place to be! It's a place that reminds me of Cheers - for those who are old enough to remember that show.... "Sometimes you want to go where everybody knows your name...". I love the small town bar vibe here. And the bartender was super attentive and friendly. Sorry no picture (yet)... was too busy having fun getting to know the folks here. But do check them out if you're in Crestline or happen to visit Lake Gregory. It's a fun place!“

UNTIL we came to MU and had some of the best thai in the area. Their pad see ew is some of the best we've ever had, other amazing dishes we've had are the pad kee mao (drunken noodles), seared ahi and Tom yum. Whether you order to go or dine in the quality is amazing. It is on the pricey side of Thai food but the quality reflects it. “The other day my grandmother-in-law asked me what my favorite restaurant was... Without hesitation I replied "EL TORITIO!!!!" That reminded me that I need to dine here more often. I've been visiting E Torito since 1996 and I have never once been disappointed in the food or service. The only thing I found disappointing in my recent visit was the lack of patrons. It's hard these days for a restaurant to remain successful. I encourage you all to to pay them a visit soon. We need to help keep them in business. I would be devastated if they ever had to shut their doors like so many businesses in California have done since 2020.“

The Vault Martini Bar & Grill Bar • $
20 E Vine St, Redlands - 5.33 miles

“I am a huge fan of open mic nights. I have found a few really good ones in the area and love attending them. I feel like a fangirl, hoping that my favourite performers will be there. I hope one day to see them on the stage so I can say, "I got to see them when they were small fries." The Vault hosts a lot of events, including musical open mic nights. I still prefer Writers Block's open mic night (the first Wednesday of every month). I am shocked that the event is free, with how talented the poets are. I have bought several books from one of the local poets (shout out to Winry Hagerty!!) who sells her work at the poetry event. The last time I went there were stickers from an artist, some leather works, books by poets for sale. The atmosphere at The Vault during Open Mic Night is vibrant and supportive. The audience is engaged and respectful, providing an encouraging environment for the performers to shine. It's worth noting that this event is not only entertaining but also affordable. It's free. If you're looking for an enjoyable and affordable evening filled with talent and creativity, make sure to check out The Vault's Open Mic Night.“

ILEGAL 1895 Bar • $$$
14 E State St, Redlands - 5.22 miles

“I’ve had the privilege of trying some of the best bars across 6 continents. I’m a bit of a craft cocktail enthusiast (read: pretentious snob) when it comes to good bars. In all seriousness, this is UNBELIEVABLY out of character from what you’d expect in Redlands. This easily ties the cocktail bars tied to many two star Michelin restaurants such as Providence in LA. I may even go so far as to say that this ties Death & Company in the Arts District, the Dead Rabbit in FiDi (Lower Manhattan), and Hatchet Hall in Culver City. This is the first place - bar or restaurant - in Redlands that I’ve been legitimately proud to showcase to people. If Redlands can have more establishments like this, then maybe the city is well on its way to catching up on a 70-year blown lead to the likes of Pasadena.Lastly, do not be put off by cost. They use quality ingredients. Of course the drinks are going to be more expensive. If you want a cheaper drink, get a Jack & Coke from a sports bar. These cocktails are not anything more than what you’d expect from a very high quality place in Santa Monica or Manhattan Beach. Very proud of Redlands for finally having a high-quality venue!“

“Okay Here to give the official review of my actual first visit bar and grill at its finesttttt! This little place did not disappoint. Everything was reasonably priced I tried the tacos and chips and salsa and I approve of both! The salsas for the tacos were spot on and so spicy! So good. The restrooms were extremely clean and had a light up mirror for all those mirror selfies or makeup touch ups. The kitchen did close early and we did spend quality time with the cook afterwards drinking. We were the only patrons at the bar so all was good! The bartender Anális was soooo nice! She was super friendly I love that it's not only 21 and over because I have teenage daughters who always join us during date nights and it's so convenient when you can have a drink or watch a game with your kids without worrying! On that note they do have 13 TVs! I most definitely will be back!“
