My Friend's House Speakeasy at the Redlands Public Market offers a 90's vibe with music and retro video games. The creative place has a thought-out atmosphere with vintage games, including game boards, card games, and video games like Super Mario, Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Spiro, Resident Evil, Lion King, Mario Party, and Mario Kart. The drinks and food menu have a vibe of their own. The adult lunchable special is a good snack starter and the best deal, coming with a charcuterie style box, a cereal type dessert, and two alcoholic drink pouches for one price. The smurf lagoon drink is enjoyable. The bartenders are quick even when busy. The environment is cool with 90s and basement vibes, and the noise level is perfect. Drinks are cheap, well priced, and amazing with cute 90s names, like Budweiser. The staff is awesome, nice, and chill. The reservation system ensures a good amount of time and prevents crowding, with no wait for video games and plenty of places to sit. However, it gets packed and hot, and entry requires the whole party. Some game controllers are broken, which is disappointing. The secret way to get in is catchy, giving immediate flashbacks. The food and cocktails are the best price at Redlands Market. The layout is a throwback. This is probably the only speakeasy in Redlands that has a worth it sticker.
