Blanca and Pierre's turned out to be the perfect send-off to a wonderful stay in Big Bear Lake.
Just outside the Village, it's a bit removed from the main drag — a little quieter and less crowded, which we appreciated. The food was very good, the place was cozy and charming, and the staff were warm and friendly, with smiles and plenty of coffee to keep things going.
A great find on the way home. We'd happily stop in again on our next visit!
casual breakfast/lunch with a small courtyard outdoor patio on the side. staff were great and local. The double burger is huge for $15, i got fries and the double burger. It was enough to feed 2 people. I regretted eating the whole thing because now i'm so full. No where else on the mountain you can get a double patty burger and fries for that price. the patties are about half inch thick so maybe they are 1/3 pounders. comes with lettuce tomatoes, and sauce. i opted for just ketchup...read full review

Blanca and Pierre’s Restaurant is a hidden gem, especially for those driving into Big Bear. This family-run spot offers excellent personal service and a very welcoming vibe. The food is excellent and much cheaper than places toward the center of town. The menu is interesting, with great burgers and especially good sausage links. They also make great fruit pies and sweet baked goods, like chocolate covered peanutbutter balls. The indoor seating is nice, but the great back patio away from traffic noise is a highlight. The service is excellent, with coffee refilled with care and attention to detail. The only negative was that the biscuit was hard as a rock. The food is hearty and can last most of the day. Prices are very decent. This restaurant has been here a long time and offers a really cute environment.
