“Good beer in a cool spot by the lake. Flights of 4 are available, and they have fun games to play while you drink. Bartender was very nice, we accidentally spilled a 4oz taster beer and he gave us another one at no charge. The Scorpion Bowl Sour was my favorite, the Flatlander Blonde is also solid.”

“If you like gourmet burgers, this is the place to go. I hardly go to restaurants anymore unless they're top rated and even then we have been disappointed at times. The meat that is served in restaurants is often low-quality, probably because they fed the animals cardboard. Spade and spatula has that best probably grass fed beef around town. I would drive many miles for the hamburgers at this place. The service is always good as well. The owner puts her heart and soul into the establishment.”

“We have been loyal customers for decades. We love the friendly service, the convenient location and most of all the delicious food prepared when ordered, making for fresh, succulent plates delivered from the kitchen. Larry makes wonderful suggestions so we change things up, not getting our usual favorites. Wendy is absolutely charming, a whimsical singer and a great server. As I write this I'm a little sad that I put that pork roast in the crockpot an hour ago....I hear Mandarin Garden calling to me. “Went along for a relatively early dinner- the staff were excellent and friendly from start to finish. We had multiple people look after the table, without ever being intrusive. They were chatty, without being overbearing, and their recommendations were much appreciated. The food was great, simple but effective fare. Went for short rib at the waiters reco, and got a steak as, Why not?! Great experience, will return”

“We were greeted immediately and seated. Very friendly folks. The food came out very quickly after ordering. Surprisingly fast. Everything looked and tasted great. Good attention to detail on the preparation and presentation of everything. We all had breakfast but we'll definitely try lunch next time we're up here.”

“I've read some mixed reviews on this upper-village landmark, but let my first observation be that it's great to have the place back open after agonizing over its untimely closure and ultimate fate after the structural damage inflicted on the property during last year's harsh winter snowstorms! It was our family's first trip for the year, and we were relieved to find our favorite mountain pizza joint back up to speed and in good order. With a hungry party of six, their 24" Super Pizza immediately jumped out as our go-to size - and it definitely satisfied our pizza-loving crew's cravings (as well as providing a midnight snack later that evening). The pizza - a half cheese, half pepperoni - was cooked well despite its massive size, and the crisp crust was definitely a crowd pleaser. The pie was neither overly sauced, greasy, nor unevenly cooked, as can often be the case with pizzas of such a large size. Two thumbs up was our group consensus! Not everyone in our crew is a pizza fan, so we also ordered a turkey sub which was an additional home run. The roll was flaky and soft with a generous portion of turkey and the obligatory garnishes of shredded lettuce and diced tomato, making the sandwich a treat for both the eyes and stomach. The side of coleslaw was also good, though only one of several options available, so french fry lovers need not despair. Waiting for our pizza to cook, we also ordered some mozzarella sticks and a pitcher of beer to enjoy while sitting out on the patio overlooking the lower village and beautiful, blue waters of Lake Arrowhead beyond. The mozzarella sticks arrived piping hot and crispy, which is important if dining outside on an early March afternoon. Things can cool down quickly - especially when a brisk breeze mixes with Winter's receding chill - but who can resist the crisp mountain air and serene ambiance this location provides? Of course, there's plenty of warm seating inside AND a small arcade for those with a desire to feed quarters to the hungry machines. :D We had a great time enjoying some fantastic faire and left with no complaints. Prices appear to be a little higher than down below, (what isn't in our current economy?), but this mainstay of the village is still worth a visit while in the area! If you've never visited, grab a table on the patio and enjoy a truly capital dining experience!”

“Very nice addition to Arrowhead Village. We missed The Grill when it left this location. We were very happy when Cadillac Cowboy finally opened. The food was very tasty and fairly priced. We have only had lunch there, but it looks like it would be fun for drinks or dinner. The bar has a great whiskey selection.”

“The Tudor house. So they say the house is haunted, which made for a perfect place to take my girlfriend for Halloween. I did a little research about the house and found out it has a very interesting past filled with gangsters, gambling, women of the night and of course booze. Don't forget the underground tunnels that go to the surrounding houses. So as for their Halloween haunted house, it was GREAT... My girlfriend was very scared. So I have to say that all the members of the attraction did a wonderful job at scaring people.Across the street they have a nice amphitheater that they use for doing plays as well as other entertainment. So the night we went they had a play of Bram Stoker's Dracula as it aired on a radio show. It was my first time going to a live play and I must say that I had a wonderful time. The cast did a great job with their performance. They allowed pictures to be taken during the show. All in all my girlfriend and I had a wonderful evening.I highly recommend both places for a wonderful evening.”

“Ambience is good, it looks like a 5 star restaurant but the prices are not bad at all. The food was great, Brussels sprouts are a great starter. The chicken sandwich could have used a sauce but overall great sandwich and service.”

“We came here on a Friday night during dinner time. It was very busy. Chase, the guy behind the counter was moving! He was the only one working at the time and he made 3 of our giant subs, a pick up order, and 3 other people's orders. He literally cleared the room in 10-15 minutes. Super impressed, and he was very kind to everyone that came in. He also told us about the Jersey Mikes app. Amazing customer service ? ? ? ?”

“I couldn't order curbside pick-up on the mobile app even though they were open for another hour. Brandon let us come in and order and he gave us the free fries from the mobile app for our trouble.”
