Papagayos is an American style Mexican restaurant with friendly staff. The food is tasty, although the spicy sauce selection is limited. The atmosphere is great for family meals and the prices are reasonable. The shredded beef enchiladas and carnitas taco plates are highly recommended. The grilled fish tacos are a pleasant surprise with generous portions. However, the vegetable burrito dish and fajitas are lacking in flavor. The service is fantastic with attentive staff providing plenty of salsa and chips. Overall, a good spot for Mexican food with hits and misses on the menu.
