Not authentic. Was not happy at all. Chips were greasy. Service was meh. Expensive for what it is. Great location, but that's pretty much the only redeeming quality. I'm local and I avoid going or taking anyone there. If you like American "Mexican" food, you'll probably like it. If you like authentic, go to El Pajaro Azul.

We went to Papagayos on Valentine's Day. We both enjoyed our meal. I had the most delicious shredded beef enchiladas I have ever had. My husband had carnitas taco plate and he said they were full of meat and very tasty. Our server did a good job and we enjoyed the atmosphere. We will definitely come back.

This is rating for their grilled al carte fish tacos. Was very pleasantly surprised and was a decent portion size. My friend loved the salsa. They were very attentive and gave us three serving of salsa and enough chips for them. I've had the vegetables burrito dish and fajita, I would not recommend those. Very flavor less and watery.

FYI you are not allowed to ask the customer with service animal what task your service dog performs specially when there are other people standing there. One person was with me and don't know my condition, there were 2 people by the bar that could easily hear the conversation and the bartender made me very uncomfortable with her unprofessional question If you are not looking to get a lawsuit you guys should consult with your attorney on what to ask when to ask and how to ask ..

Delicious made to order meals provided by waiters who greet locals like friends. Very popular place amongst locals. Very generous margaritas, as well as specialty drinks. Make sure to try their delicious fried ice cream.

This place is just okay. My boyfriend and I agreed, it wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. It's good if you're in the mood for some Mexican food, but don't expect it to be super authentic. I ordered the enchiladas rancheras and he ordered the shredded beef chimichanga. The portions were big and the price was reasonable. The inside looks a little outdated but didn't bother us. Our server was Marcy and she was great! Very friendly and any time we asked for anything she brought it out right away. We dined here on Saturday, February 24, and hostess was not the friendliest, which has been mentioned by other reviewers. She was an older woman, and she seemed annoyed that she had to deal with people.
