De La Nonna - Big Bear

The chef is Italian trained and it shows! We dined while staying at Hotel Marina Riviera. The focaccia eggplant sandwich offers a rich palette of flavors- shaved fennel and cucumbers, tossed in a vinaigrette. It’s complex and so tasty! The ceasar salad is also perfectly prepared and tossed.

Food was so freaking good! Lots of vegan options and it tasted great. Focaccia is soft and the pizza is very unique. Don’t shy away from the eggplant dishes, so flavorful!

If you’re looking for a place to lounge and eat some appetizers and a few drinks before dinner. I suggest this place the view is amazing. The atmosphere is very nice and their pizzas are good. I would not suggest this place if you’re coming here to have dinner their menu is not that big specially for dinner overall, the place is nice though.

This Sicilian pizza is out of this world — perfectly crunchy outside and super moist inside! It’s been so long since I’ve had a pizza this good. Don’t forget to try the tiramisu for dessert! Chef Logan and our server were incredibly friendly — truly the best of the best!

This is easily one of the best restaurants in Big Bear. The food is incredibly flavorful, and the staff! Some of the loveliest people I've met on vacation. Shout out to Denise who was our server on multiple occasions, she really took care of us and was a joy to interact with.

The pizza and sandwich that we had were delicious, and the place is absolutely beautiful facing the lake. Had a whole bottle of wine because it was half off. Our server was also great, and was very friendly to my son. We will definitely be back! Took off one star because the portion were a little smaller than what I expected for the price and they didn’t give me stemmed glass for the wine, it’s personal preference but I don’t like the stemless wine glasses lol, but otherwise we would love to go back.

This is a beautiful lakeview property. Came here for apps midweek. Servers are very accommodating. The smoked trout dip is outstanding! We ordered wine on the happy hour menu but they also make craft cocktails from a well appointed bar.

Excellent friendly staff, food was top notch Cesar salad was as good as they come and the pep pizza with honey was to die for. We got some fun cocktails as well that were great. The view was amazing and they were very accommodating of children and strollers.

Really enjoying the new BBL waterfront restaurant, De La Nonna. Wonderful atmosphere with a beautiful outdoor patio complete with lake view and fire pits. Been there a few times and the food and service have all been exceptional. My wife has settled on the Margarita Pizza, and I am sold on the Sicilian Pizza, both excellent. Keep seeing the Caesar salad go by and thinking it looks incredible, might have to add that to the pizza order next time. Tiramisu was amazing as well. Hoping they expand their wine selection a bit in the coming months.

Athena our server was great, and the manager (Jennifer) came by, and was truly interested in our experience, and clearly wants this business to do well. I’m sure it will under her leadership, and with the fantastic food, staff, view, and beverages. Being able to walk there from the house is a plus, walking back (uphill) full of pizza, wine and Tiramisu, not as fun. But worth it. Go see Jennifer and her staff for a great meal in an epic setting.

SHOCKINGLY GOOD. Such an amazing experience. Pizza was top 5 best I’ve had anywhere in the world - such a unique, light crumb to the focaccia; like an elevated detroit / sicilian hybrid. Edges charred to perfection. Chopped salad was nice and light and refreshing too. Great experience as well - Lexi was amazing and was so sweet to our dog. Beautiful setting with nice lake views.

Hands down the best pizza on the mountain, and it’s not even close!

Stopped in for lunch today. Beautiful space, well-designed layout, incredible views of the lake, and delicious food!! We enjoyed the white pizza, pepperoni pizza, and smoked trout dip, all of which were prepared with care and quality ingredients. Our server, Chris, was awesome. We're already planning on coming back with friends next week :)
