Friendly staff, quick (15-20 mins) for take out when ordered outside rush times. Dine in also had reasonable wait times. The Hunan Lamb and Pork with Shredded Bean Curd are some of my favorite dishes.

I came in for lunch and had a nice meal. When I first walked in the front patio seemed very scrappy and dirty, but walked into a nice large restaurant with many large comfortable booths & tables. It was two in the afternoon on Wednesday, and I was the only one there.
I started with a lychee martini and I must say, it had a very strange taste. I didn’t quite recognize it because it did not taste like lychee should. I switched to a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. Then I started with the cucumber salad, which was nice. Prepared with a nice garlic sauce with big chunks. Then I ordered the chicken curry and although it was pretty darn good, it did not really have that much curry flavor, which was disappointing. There was a lot of tender chicken in it so overall it was a very good dish. I just wanted more curry flavor.
Pretty decent prices with large portions. Service was friendly and efficient. Very large menu.

I went there last night for dinner with my girlfriend and her kids last night was the worst service that we had usually when me and my girlfriend go we’re in and out of there in 30-45 minutes last night after getting shit it took him about 20 minutes just for them to come over and order our drinks and now they’re 10 minutes for them just to get it in mind you there’s only two other tables at this place has so it’s not busy. It took about an hour to 20 minutes after getting our drinks for them to come take our order. They brought out our bowls for our soup, but took forever to bring it to us. We are there for a total almost 2 hours then when we paid our bill, my girlfriend didn’t leave a tip because how bad of a service it was then the server had the audacity to say something to my girlfriend son saying that your mom didn’t tip yeah of course you didn’t get no tip service so shitty and everything took so long sorry but I tip on service and performance

I do enjoy my big bear Chinese, but tonight service was really really slow. I always leave a tip, but when it gets bad then I don't. I was already got into the car and my kids slow behind the lady the had the audacity to say something to my son like oh your mom forgot a tip. Rude!

Went to Big Bear on Labor day weekend and it was busy at the Village so we walked half a mile to this restaurant. It was surprisingly good (just don't order the lychee martini not good).
Had the scrambled egg shrimp, kung pao chicken, salt pepper wings (such a hit), fried rice, beef chowfun.
There were only 2 people who worked the tables and the food came out quick

Hidden gem! Authentic dishes and “Americanized” dishes too.
I’m still eating and I’m craving coming back already.

Tried to get take out while in Big Bear but plates are bit expensive and watch out for the overpricing and over taxing on the order my order was 84 with 4 stuff and another order was 84 with 3 stuff while we were ordering we saw a rat go inside the restaurant I had to cancel and leave

Restaurant was dirty, and cluttered. The food was mediocre at best. The server was rude to us when asking us how we wanted to split the check. The worst part of it all was the server trying to shame myself and my party for not giving him a tip. He asked us 3 times over for a tip including using the phrase, “you seriously don’t want to tip?”.

Restaurant was dirty there was mold under the air conditioning unit. And cluttered poor service were not seated for at least 5 minutes upon arrival. Food took 30 minutes to arrive and tasted unpleasant. Furthermore the service was beyond abysmal with our server being very rude as he repeatedly harassed us for tips despite poor service and was threatening please just eat at grizzly bear manor cafe.
