Place was too busy, maybe because of the reviews and recommendations… the waitress seemed overwhelmed and was very short and rude. There was a another lady there… not sure her role there … we decided to leave not because she was rude, but rather because we had kids and the wait was too long. When my wife kindly told the lady who was just there sort of helping that we were leaving, the lady said there is McDonalds for you. Very disrespectful and rude.
Disappointed.
To the owners, you cannot scheduled one waitress for the entire restaurant.
I would not recommend this place for families with kids.

As an emo kid at heart, I really enjoyed this place! I loved the playlist—it’s exactly what I would’ve been listening to in middle school. So nostalgic. The entire restaurant and menu is rock/punk music-themed.

Our service was super fast, and I also received a complimentary churro dessert since it was my birthday. I got the Californication burger and I really enjoyed the smoky spicy mayo used on it. Plenty of patio seating for dog owners. Next time I come back, I want to try the smores thing where you cook it directly in the fire at your table.

Our server, Yessi (?), was super nice too!

We will definitely return when we come back to Big Bear! Thanks for making my birthday epic ☺️

We won’t be coming back to this restaurant until the host and staff change. She was rude and told us we couldn’t get a table even though it was four hours before closing. She also refused to offer takeout.

Seems racist..

The servant in the back patio was very rude I approached her for a drink menu and had us waiting for over 30mins, she would glance at us occasionally but no help. After a while I went to go get help and was told that they’re back patio was closed and did not wanna serve us there, she was extremely rude about it and was upset over something?

My family and I have been here before. And we had a great time. But this last time was a bad experience, NEVER have I ever felt or gone through being belittle for being Hispanic. Just this past weekend 1/3/25 my family and I walked in to sign up on the waiting list, a young woman, had walked by and rudely said EXCUSE ME. I truly thought it was a customer. THEN i see this young woman attending to a (white) family, and being kind. Ignored it and just let it slid.. finally we get sat down. AND Another young lady was Rude to my Brother, yelling at him EXCUSE ME, while he was walking out
Of the bathroom, (and because the door swings out, he didn't see her). Again we let it go.. the final straw, we were standing in line by the restroom, my niece stepped out of the line(she's 2) and this girl, rolls her eyes at my niece, and looks at my sister and also rolled her eyes again.. I thought I was over thinking the situation, and my husband said something inregard to the waitress bad attitude. And my sister did too. We ended up leaving.. sadly it felt like a racial issue.

It was okay. Burgers are honestly okay. I ordered a burger with bacon but they didn't even give me the bacon. My daughters chicken nuggets were a bit overdone with a rubbery texture. Honestly not worth the wait.

Update: super packed after it said no wait. It is cold and rainy. The dark hair lady expected us to wait outside. Outside where?? It was raining and cold. I had my babies with me. If I would have known, it wouldn't have taken them out of the car. And the lady didn't have to be rude!!

Abby aka the manager said that kitchen was closed at 8:45p when I walked in. I tried calling multiple times before 8:30p and even made the drive because the call went straight to voicemail. All I wanted to order were some carne asada fries to go. I don’t understand what kind of customer service is that. She claimed that the kitchen was closed and that she wasn’t answering the phone because she was alone, I’m sorry that you guys don’t prepare for the busiest month of the year and you’re short staff, that’s not my fault. I’ve worked in a restaurant before and now I work in retail so out of courtesy I would have taken a quick order and prepared it for my customer, specially because they attempted to reach the store 30 minutes before closure. I just don’t find that okay nor fair, the owner should hire more staff and not overwork Abby if she can’t handle it alone.

Totally picked this place off Google. Super friendly service and nice lake views from the deck. Nice that they had patio heaters going.

(Brioche bun - the highlight), but, the burger was just okay. The fries were sad, tasted like fry oil and prior frozen (I asked). Server was awesome, very nice and honest when asked about fries. I appreciate that. Lots of people (families with kids) when we showed. The space seemed maybe a little cramped and I could hear everyone's conversations. Just generally disappointed. I think I chose poorly for what we wanted.

Waited an hour for an incredibly mid burger. Got seated outside when i was not dressed for that without being asked. The heating outside was awful and i was at a bar they seemed to use for junk storage. A hobo came by a trapped me in chatter while i waited for my food. Waiter was rude and i barely saw him, even as he dropped stuff off.
Definitely not worth it.

Meh. The only thing I can say is, the service wasn't great. It took far too long get anything. The second we sat down the sever wanted to take our order and when we weren't ready it took 20 minutes to place our order. It was frustrating because we had a 1 year old that needed to eat. It was a busy night and we did absolutely consider that but then when we got our food we had to continue to wait because they didn't put one of the food orders in. I just can't say I'll be back.

Waited 30 minutes in line to get in , then an additional 40 minutes for a waitress to take our orders , then 30 to get our food . Music was so loud you couldn’t hear the person across from you . Fries came out cold .

Delicious Wings, Brussel Sprouts, Wedge Salad, and Blood Orange Beer. First time here and I will return whenever I return to Big Bear.
