Cool place with great fare. Tried the Declaration Day Burger, Beer BBQ and Fire Rock Wings... all delicious, but the Mango Chipotle and Bacon Brussel Sprouts was the winner! The service was also great eventhoigh they seemed short-staffed. Would definitely come back here when we visit Big Bear again.

We had such a great experience at Fire Rock Burgers and Brews! Our server (I think his name might’ve been Ricky?) had dark hair and a beard — he was absolutely fantastic. Friendly, attentive, and made us feel really welcome even though the place was busy.
I ordered a salad, which was super fresh and delicious, and the kids meals were generous. My husband got the gatlic fries, and they were a little heavy on the sauce but still good, if you like really rich flavor they would've been great for you.
To top it off, he made me an amazing iced coffee. The whole vibe was fun and upbeat, and despite being busy, everyone was so nice. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Big Bear!

Was gonna DoorDash a burger I called and asked the woman on the phone what there most popular burger was she said it depends on people’s preference I was like that’s an ok response then I asked I wanted something with lettuce tomato’s and onions there’s so many options what does she recommend she said she’s busy at work and that I can look up the menu and see for myself, that was not an ok response and it wasn’t encouraging for me to order anything so I didn’t

My wife and I came in early on a September weekday so it was pretty dead, as you'd expect. We both got a burger and avocado egg rolls and a flight of beer to share. Burgers and fries were fine, nothing special. The beers were quite solid and there's a great selection.
I got the Sweating Bullets burger which I assumed would have some kick to it. It had zero spice -- and my tolerance is pretty average.
All that would've been fine, but the service was terrible. Everything came fast but the server was operating like it was Saturday night on a holiday weekend instead of Wednesday at 6:00 pm in the middle of September. Every time she dropped off food at our table, she literally dropped it off on the side of the table. Now I don't really care that I had to reach for my beer and appetizers but it was just odd. She asked if we needed anything but tuned out our responses and was walking away before we could ask for what we wanted. Generally felt unwelcome and hurried, so not the best experience.

Nice little restaurant. Cool vibes and ambience. Two lovely outdoor patios and a cozy interior with TVs and mist fans on the hot days!
We started with the cream cheese avocado rolls, and they were outstanding. Lovely amount of heat to the dipping sauce & a nice crunchy texture. Excellent filling! Then I had had the harvest salad with grilled chicken. It was very good. Nice portion as well.
OK prices. Abby served us and didn’t seem very attentive at all. Rushed away every time we tried to ask her something. Yummy food, though!

Insanely delicious burgers and the Hawaiian poke nachos were the bomb as well. We ordered the Bat country burger and rising of the star or whatever. Brussel sprouts were also really good. We brought our dog too and we on the patio.

Came here for a late lunch with the bf after the first choice for us had a hugely long line. The wait was quick to be seated at the bar. Our order took awhile but it was busy, even at 2pm on Saturday for a late lunch. We ordered the californication and garlic fries to share. It was delicious and just the right portion for us to be able to do dinner at a reasonable time.
