2.5/5 so I'll round it up to 3 but yikes... this place is definitely not a place I'll ever go to again. I got the chicken quesadilla and other reviews have said it was good and flavorful, I'd have to disagree with that. The quesadilla was so bland and was something I could've made at home with some Costco chicken rotisserie. It comes with a very small handful of lettuce and tomato's and not a lot of sour cream either. I asked if I could get guac on the side as this is usually an option, the waitress said no problem but bought me a whole order for the guac not just a side and charged an extra $10.. and didn't inform me that she'd bring me a whole order. I specifically asked for a side hoping it'd be ($2-3) but it ended up being another $10 . I was not a fan of the guac either as it was not even really green. Refer to pictures. My total meal ended up being $22 for the chicken quesadilla and guac and honestly I was really disappointed and dissatisfied. My friends said their burritos were good though. In my opinion the pros about this place was that it was cozy and had a very authentic vibe while dining.

I absolutely love this restaurant! It's hands down my favorite spot in Big Bear. The location couldn't be better—it's conveniently next to the village but without all the hustle and bustle. Food is fantastic! From tacos to fajitas to burritos and churros, we loved every dish we tried. I highly recommend the La Bamba burrito—it's incredibly authentic, and the spicy sauce is something special and absolutely amazing!

Food was good. Mollete was delicious, guac was decent, wouldn't recommend the French fries (too stiff) Didn't realize till I left I had been charged for two Molletes. I enjoyed both of them but wish I would have known when ordering/paying

Very cute restaurant! Very family friendly - they had Monsters Inc playing on the tv and it was so cute. I love the decor and everyone here was very friendly and warm. We came in hungry and we each ordered a burrito - one shrimp and one asada. It was a bit pricey and the burrito wasn't anything too crazy, but we knew our options were going to be limited for the location.

Came with my family. Everyone finished eating and my torta came out when everyone was done. The neat was so hard I could not even eat it. I asked for a chicken soup and rice for my baby and it had no rice and packed with shredded chicken. Do not recommend this place at all.

Really not sure why this place has good reviews. It was terrible . I had fish and shrimp taco. No flavor what so ever . Also had the carne asada fries . More like a kids meal if you ask me . My buddy asked for a burger and his bun was burnt and he described it as a hockey puck. Other buddy ordered the fajitas and was nothing but bell pepper. Really disappointed in this restaurant. we all left hungry and unsatisfied. Will never go again Wish I would have taken pictures Only thing I can say was the servers were nice that's about it

My friend and I had the best meal here! A tiny hole in the wall restaurant with Mexican cuisine made surprisingly well. I was blown away by my carne asada burrito with spicy salsa. So good I plan on returning soon. Gracias La Bamba!!!!

Insanely good food, fair prices, quick service, & a quirky laid back environment. ? Perfect place to have a marg or a beer & some epic Mexican food. Screw taco bell, support local & eat something noteworthy!Dietary restrictions: My partner has a shellfish allergy & was able to find something they could eat very easily on the menu.
