We all really liked our food. Service was pretty quick. Server was nice. Enjoyed it overall!

Unfortunately we were not happy with the quality or service of this establishment. Food was bland and cold upon receiving. Alcoholic drinks are watered down and over priced. Not the friendly environment we were expecting and very disappointed as we spent quite a bit for our family lunch during this holiday weekend. Would not recommend based on experience.

I walked in and was greeted with a friendly welcome. The chicken taco was amazing and the fajita salad was enough for 2-3 people. Great atmosphere better food. To state that some of the reviews I read are not taking into account that they were from tourists during busy season in the busiest part of bear. We have to staff according to season here and honestly the food was incredible. This will be a new spot for me.

Extremely disappointing. We ordered pancakes, waffles, and French toast for our family of six, and not a single item was edible. My kids couldn’t take more than one bite without spitting it out—and one nearly got sick. I don’t know how you mess up pancakes this badly. We left $80 poorer with four hungry, cranky kids. Definitely would not recommend!

I ordered the shrimp fajita salad and was pretty disappointed. The overall flavor was very bland, and the ingredients didn’t seem fresh — the corn and beans looked and tasted like they came from a can. The shrimp wasn’t cooked well, which really brought down the dish even more. On top of that, we were charged an 18% service fee even though we were just a party of two. Our waitress barely checked on us the entire time and didn’t ask how our food was. Definitely not the dining experience I was hoping for.

Beautiful cantina! The birria tacos were so delicious we ate them before getting a pic!
The margaritas are very generous, but their flavor could be a bit better.
Other than that I highly recommend this place and will definitely come back! We loved it 😍

I just love this place. We were just exploring the area. Good Mexican music lured us in.

Drinks are amazing; they know how to prepare them. We felt right at home.

I want to thank Carlos for his excellent customer service. Top-notch, really.

Food, to put this simply was just not good. I don't want to go into more detail with more because that would just be mean.
The service was just ok. Friendly staff but food took forever to come out. I would not recommend this place unless you really don't eat Mexican food often or are not Latino. You will surely be disappointed if you know what this type of food should taste like.

this place seemed like a good spot at first we get seated at the back of the restaurant in a corner which is fine but a waitress takes our order and tells us her coworker gave her a broken ordered tablet and laughs about it. she starts taking our order and after she’s done, she walks away mind you i went with just 4 people including me she doesn’t come back until like 30 minutes pass by. she comes back to tell us that she put our ticket for our food down. LIKE WHAT BARELY! okay fine we wait LONGER another waiter sees me and my family sitting doing NOTHING! and proceeds to asks us “are you guys waiting for your food?” EXCUSE ME!! LIKE NO IM JUST SITTING HERE STARVING!! this was beyond disappointing so we told our server that if the food doesn’t come out in 10 minutes we’re leaving. she says the food is being made and we ask what are we waiting for? she said well the salad has been made and your tacos and burrito are getting started on. i’m sorry but 40 minutes just for a salad to be made. baby i can make a salad in 2 minutes. also there was a bigger table next to us drinking and ordering so much stuff and receiving it in like 10 minutes. i’m not sorry but beyond disappointing i wouldn’t go and i checked the reviews their food is just as bad as their service.👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Decent food, but they were out of a lot of items like waffles and red sauce. Eggs weren’t cooked as ordered. Service was okay, but we were very put off when we noticed that the mandatory 18% service charge for parties of 6 or more was applied to our check of 4 people. Pretty sure that this was not an honest mistake, and we didn’t notice until after leaving additional tip. I wonder how many times the employees are adding this charge on to checks.

Small Mexican restaurant located in a downtown-like district in Big Bear called The Village. They are small but offer indoor and outdoor seating, as well as a bar. Their margarita menu is pretty unique.

This place has SUCH a cute vibe but their food and service are a miss - bland, flavorless proteins and inattentive staff. Prices are high like most places on the mountain. Very disappointing!

Very solid MID Mexican inspired food. I say Mexican inspired because it was not authentic. Ordered the steak wet burrito and both my brother and I could not eat more than one bite, it tasted like they used El Pato sauce or something from a can instead of real enchilada sauce. We had to send them back. The shrimp bites were burnt and the “chipotle mayo” had no flavor. Taco Bell would have been better.

If you have a question about hours or services and you call them, it’s better to speak English because the lady who answers the phone is rude if you ask something in Spanish.

Service was very good. Our waitresses was very kind and attentive. That being said, I don't plan on coming back. My margarita was overpriced and I'm not sure there was any alcohol in it, and it was just average tasting. My tacos were mostly fluff. The fish taco had two or three thin strips of fish (like it was torn apart) and the tortilla was just filled with lettuce/cabbage. I felt the lack of protein as I held the taco in my hand. There were three small shrimps in my shrimp taco, and the tortilla was medium sized. The cheese enchiladas were cold and the cheese inside was not melted at all. The chips were OK, but some of them were still chewy and undercooked.
