This place was awesome. The food was all cooked perfectly the hash browns were golden brown the pancakes had a crispy edge and the biscuits and gravy were delicious. Fluffy and crispy in all the right places. I asked for the chefs name to leave a review because credit is due to the person making the food! Well done Casto you know what your doing and me and my family enjoyed every bit of it! Thank you!
Here's the good and the bad.
The first time trying this place out, I had the Monty Christo. It was not what i expected from a MC. Their MC was soft and limp with french toast as the sandwich bread. I was expecting it more like an old school Bennigan's Christo that is dipped and deep fried. The sandwich was a C-, the onion rings on the side were a B- grade. My friends had the All American burgers and they looked great.

The place has true mountain charm and our server was very nice and attentive.
We felt a little odd because it was on the earlier side of dinner time (4:30ish) but still when you would expect to see people in a restaurant and the place was empty. We weren't even sure if they were open?
The food tasted good and we were happy. Worth checking out when you are in Big Bear.
