The service here is absolutely horrible. The first red flag should've been that so many people seemed to already be having issues with the service and their food. However, my husband and I felt bad for the workers. THEN, we told a server he was doing such a great job serving over 8 tables by HIMSELF and he proceeds to tell us personal information about himself such as him being a drug user, the other jobs he hated, etc. Suddenly, we had an emergency come up before our food had even reached the table, so we had to leave, we were given the option to cancel the order or to take it to go in which we said to cancel it but then later, they proceeded to say they will no longer be able to cancel it and we had to pay for food we never even received.. On another note, we let them know we had an emergency and the owner said "Well we all have our own stories" It was so upsetting as we always make sure to stop by here whenever we come up to big bear but unfortunately due to the service and the attitude from the owner and employees, we will never come back here.

Food is great. Ambiance is nice. I got the shrimp and scallop pasta, very good. I like how it comes with salad or soup and bread. Slightly expensive but good.

What a great night! My family and I have eaten here a few times over the last 30 years. This was our best visit yet! Food was great! Service was great! The vibe was great! It ain’t cheap but it absolutely did not disappoint and was worth every penny. A special thank you to Harmony who was our waiter. She was off the hook! It started right as we walked in the door. The hostess was funny and engaging. The manager took our jackets and was funny and happy. Then 90 mins of great food and attentive service from Harmony and her crew of support staff. Everyone was super engaging, nice, friendly and a joy to be with. You made our visit to Big Bear memorable!

What a delicious dining experience! They provided us with complimetary bread which was so fresh and soft and paired well with the butter they provided. The tomato soup and clam chowder were both great and a nice introduction to our meal. I had the fettuccine alfredo which was creamy and tasty. I also had their shrimp and scallop scampi which was good but needed more flavor. The service was excellent and our waiter Jordan was exceptional, very attentive and friendly. Parking is limited especially during peak hours. The ambiance is romantic and I like how they put flowers at each table.

We decided to come here for a nice little dinner date for our big bear lake mountain trip. This place is rather small and super popular. Glad we made a reservation and they kept our cozy window table a bit longer than we expected. I really appreciated that! The food and drink menus were great, we'v actually eaten here many years ago. Hubby and I shared a bottle of champagne and it was tasty. For food we had crab cakes as appetizer along with clam chowder and salad. For entrees we had to order three of them off the dinner menu. They were unable to substitute the penne pasta to gluten free ravioli in my seafood bouillabaisse. So I ordered the GF ravioli pasta entree and asked them to put it in my seafood dish. And it worked out very well. The seafood was so delicious and the GF ravioli was fantastic! Hubby liked his filet mignon as well. We didn't order any desserts cause our appetite was affected by altitude sickness. We couldn't even finish our dinner because of that even though the food was so yummy. The food portions were huge though! We just had espresso and Grey Goose espresso martini as desserts. The service was very slow at times since they were so busy the entire evening. I appreciated that the manager took good care of us several times. This is such a great place for a nice little dinner on the mountain. We'd come back whenever we are in town!

One of the worst steaks I've ever had. Asked for medium-rare and it was WELL DONE. Waitress was nice, but never asked how the food was, just if we wanted to order anything else. For $60 steak I had hoped for more.

We met the manager of this restaurant (Fred) at Barrel 33 the night before and while chatting about my gluten and dairy free diet, he mentioned that they serve gluten and dairy free ravioli. I knew we'd be going there the next day. I have never found a restaurant that serves gluten free AND dairy free ravioli so this was quite the treat. It's something I never get to eat due to my food allergies. The mushroom and basil ravioli was absolutely delicious! I added grilled chicken on top for some protein. Definitely worth the price for me!

As a server, I am a hard critic. We came in yesterday at 3:45. This place is absolutely amazing!! The staff is very welcoming from the moment you walk in. Jordan was our server. Def one of the best servers EVER!! We had a great experience with him. The food was incredible as well. And the place was spotless.

Delicious food and excellent service. Food takes a while but that should be expected when it comes to fresh food of this quality.

First off, the service was awesome. The server was really nice and attentive. The location is really cramped for parking, but inside was fine. I had the shrimp and scallop scampi with New England chowder soup while my girlfriend had fettuccine Alfredo with tomato basil soup. The soups were deliciously flavorful. The New England chowder was creamy and the tomato basil was hearty. Now onto the pastas. The shrimp and scallop one was tasty and I liked the sauce. Unfortunately, I found the way the shrimp and scallop was cooked to be a bit underwhelming. The protein for my dish was the low point. Everything else was great. I really liked the fettuccine Alfredo. The cheese in the pasta popped and even the next day, it still tasted pretty good. Overall not a bad restaurant, definitely a good one up here in big bear!
