We were looking for a place to get breakfast. We just happen to drive by the tea and coffee exchange so we thought we would give it a try. I've never seen it before. I'm gonna tell you next time I will not go into this place. The service was horrendous. The two girls were working behind the counter were so pissed off. You could tell they did not want to be thereEvery time we ask them a question about something on the menu they would look at us and say just read the menu so we ended up getting a strawberry banana banana Nutella crêpe, which tasted fairly OK we got a ham and cheese croissant. I had asked if we could just do egg whites on that and she said no why would we, we got a caramel apple crêpe and that came out a little soggy they do give you a ton of food. The crêpes are gigantic, but the service was terrible. The food was not that good. There are so many better places to eat. I guess the overall best part about this place is the fact that you could sit outside and eat your breakfast and that there was absolutely no wait to order.

Originally one barrista took care of me and she was great. It was sunny so my husband and I drank our drink at their patio chairs. When we went to use the restrooms they were locked so I asked the young dirty blond hair man if I can get the restroom unlocked. With a very rude and sarcastic voice he said “Well did you buy something”. I said “do you not see my drink from your place on my hand. Then he rudely and sarcastically said how am I supposed to know I just got here. Then I said Wow I even gave a tip in that box and he pulled out a bill and said here take it I don’t need it. I was like his hard was it to just say ok I didn’t see the cup from us here let me open the door. My husband and I will never go back and we often drive up from Highland up to this Tea and coffee shop. So dissatisfied;( But this experience definitely helps us understand why there’s never any other customers when we’ve been there.

The "smoothies" here are not actual smoothies made from fresh fruit, they are made from "concentrate and ice" which is basically sugar water and has little to no nutritional value.

Hard pass!

Ordered Crepe with Nutella, banana and strawberry, I thought that it would be so yummy. I’m a big nutella lover so I expect a lot of nutella when i was eating the crepe i had a weird taste of strawberry when i opened the crepe strawberry was very soggy and weird color. I realized there was no nutella at all. I ordered a Smoothie it was good ?. Over all crepe wasn’t good no nutella at all very sad ?. Thank you !

Ordered a vegetarian panini and lavender tea latte for takeout. The place was not crowded; service was prompt and I received my order in minutes. The sandwich had a balanced choice and amount of vegetables, mozzarella and pesto spread with bread nicely pressed to a subtly crunchy texture on the outside. I could customize the latte to my choice of milk, sugar and ice amounts. Very pleasant experience.

I came here twice when visiting Big Bear. Once for coffee and a dessert, the other time coffee and a breakfast crepe. I thought their version of a crepe was better than others I have had in the area. It is a quiet cafe to meet up with a friend. The service is fairly quick. They have regular coffee and espresso drinks as well as specialty flavors.
