Visited twice in five days. Excellent food and great service. Definitely will come back when we visit again.

Food was so good. Cinnamon roll french toast, Pastrami hash & eggs, and the cinnamon cornbread - yum! Very friendly service. Wish we had eaten breakfast here both mornings!

Cute spot for breakfast. It's cozy inside. Staff was friendly but it did seem like they were short staffed. The food overall is decent. I had Machaca which is different than I was used to but still good. My wife had the turkey / avocado and it was huge, piled high with fresh sliced turkey. Potatoes were a bit bland as were the fries. I'll definitely return though and try the pancakes or waffles which looked amazing. Overall a good spot right near the village if you want to grab a bite.

Cute diner style restaurant, decor is great for Big Bear. Service was okay, they seemed very understaffed and unprepared. We sat down at like 9 am and we got lukewarm very weak coffee. When we asked for a refill it took another 10-15 minutes to get one, and the worker only filled our cups halfway. We had to stop him before he left to get a full refill. The food was decent. Their cinnamon cornbread was interesting, it tasted more like coffee cake than cornbread. Biscuit with gravy was tasty but the gravy was cold when it came out.

We arrived Big Bear Lake late in the evening and showed up at Teddy Bear Restaurant at 9:30 - they close at 10! But the staff was super welcoming and had no problem seating us so late. We never felt rushed, the service was great and the food was excellent! Perfect comfort food after a long day of traveling. I would highly recommend this restaurant for great home cooked food and very friendly staff.
