They no longer have vegan bakery or pastry items. There are no vegan options on the food menu. The only vegan thing they have going for them is oat milk or almond milk for their drinks. This is updated as of November 2025. Also, the guy who works in the morning is not a friendliest. Updated from previous review on 2025-11-04

I’m a huge coffee lover and always on the hunt for great new spots wherever I go — and I’m so glad I stumbled upon Copper Q! It’s quickly become one of my favorite coffee shops.
I ordered the oak shaken espresso, and wow — it’s seriously 100x better than Starbucks! We also tried an omelette and a crepe, both of which were absolutely delicious.
The decor and overall vibe of the place are fantastic — cozy, inviting, and full of character. And I can’t forget to mention the adorable giant dog roaming around the shop — such a fun and charming touch
The super friendly staff was def the cherry on top!

Really want a coffee as we stolled down looking at the shops. Can't really review because we stopped by at 5:05pm and they were closed even though the sign on the door said they closed at 6pm .

Copper Q Coffee is one of the best coffee spots in the Big Bear Village. Prices are reasonable, the service is quick, and I love that they don't charge extra for oat or almond milk, or syrup flavors. Great espresso and coffee, plus they serve crepes and sandwiches too. Can't wait to come back to try those--stay tuned with BigBearWaypoint when we do!

Would not come back here for coffee again. Coffee is SO sour and bitter, we would have probably been better off stopping by a gas station because it was worse than gas station coffee. For the overpriced prices, we really expected to get a decent black coffee and not even that. We also ordered 2 hot chocolates for the kids which were also both really bad. These were $6 each and did not taste like hot chocolate, just milky and also sour. Customer service needs improvement. I was handed a $5 cup of coffee that was half full, a lot more space than what anyone would need for creamer, and had to please ask for more coffee. Then on the station for creamer and sugars the half and half bottle was empty and no one was aware. Servers looked somewhat annoyed that I told them the bottle was empty and if we could please have some. Overall, it was a terrible experience and I would not recommend this overpriced, bitter coffee to anyone/ hot chocolate or come back.

I was extremely surprised when they served Vietnamese coffee here, and set aside a large display corner to sell LaViet coffee.
Of course, the egg bagel dish was very delicious and the space was pleasant. A Kodiak runner from Vietnam🇻🇳

This is a great place to get coffee and a bagel or a breakfast sandwich and sit outside and enjoy. Dog friendly too. The service and food is outstanding.

This place is the real deal! The coffee they use is the smoothest, most flavorful coffee I have ever tried! The crepes make you feel like you are in a cafe in Paris!

The staff are so friendly and they are always smiling!

Any food or drink at the Copper Q is fantastic and we keep coming back for more. Anyone not rating this a 5+ is nuts!

Is place for men only, because my teen girls went into the shop and were treated so rudely? The coffee was too expense and no good!

Horrible. First and definitely last time here. Crepe guy calls out so apparently they can't make ANYTHING hot. The girl working this morning was so rude, she dropped her drink, got mad and made me stand there while she cleaned it up, played on her phone, chatted and THEN gave me the simple iced tea I ordered. No other customers waiting, just me. How horrible do you have to be as a company to hire someone like that?!

I will never turn down food but we had to throw all our meals away after we picked at them. I had a quiche Loraine and got a ham quiche for my 1 year old. I peeled the dry, thick layer of cheese off hoping to get some more egg. There was something really off. My husband got a sandwich that he could only eat a few bites of. The only one happy was my son with his grilled cheese. Inside it was dark and hot- therefore, plenty of seating at least. I was going to go back to get a coffee but after the food I didn’t want to risk spending more. I wish I took a photo but I had hands full with children. Wish we hadn’t washed our lunch here during our short stay in Big Bear. 😕
