My bill was 118.00, had a gift for the first 100.00. The waiter went to cash my bill out, explain to me how or why his input was 185.00. No apology or explain how this happened. Watch your bill..
Chilly outside patio. No heaters. Lake view was nice. Excellent waiter but after being specifically that I wanted rare steak it was totally well done and poor quality. Waiter agreed and offered another. It was worse and took extra time to thaw. No bartender. Saturday night few tables taken.
My daughter and I went last night for dinner. We sat on the patio which was alittle cool ….but they provide blankets. They were short staffed so it took awhile for our meals but it was well worth it. We got the fajitas. They were delicious. A great value for the price. We are def going back. All kinds of food. I’m looking forward to trying the salads. (We are locals)
What an eclectic dinner my wife and I enjoyed! The view on the patio was top-notch (yes you can see the lake). The choices on the menu were diverse - French, Italian, Mexican, Chinese, American - hard to choose! Once dinner was served, it was amazing! My Chicken Piccata tasted fresh and was full of flavor; my wife loved the butternut squash ravioli. It took some time to be served and get our food - know this going in and slow down, relax, and enjoy!
Broad, varied and surprising menu. Really enjoyed my chicken salad. Good service too. Would definitely return.
When we walked into restaurants for dinner, there was 1 1/2 hour wait everywhere. We found this place just off the main drag, and we were seated right away. The service was slow, though (they were busy with a large group the night we were there), and we were put in a location when one waiter bumped me every time she walked by our table. We *were* in an awkward location, but then why put a table there? And there were plenty of empty tables where we could have been seated. The flooring was worn. The place looked a little rundown. However, the food was delicious! We LOVED the butternut squash ravioli, and now I get cravings for it. I'd go back just for that alone. Oh, and our waiter (not the one constantly bumping me) was most pleasant.
If you like getting attitude and receive terrible service this is the place to go. No welcome, no greetings, not even a smile. Bunch of racists with horrible manners from entry to exit. They were so rude that our party of 11 decided to walk out.
We came here on on our anniversary (our daughter had Googled nice restaurants for us & recommended this one). The restaurant is on a sloping lot such that when you enter the restaurant you are at a higher elevation and the indoor dining room has bay windows all with lake views. We sat outdoors as it was a warm evening. The terrace felt like a rooftop patio overlooking the lake. It had cute signs and string lights adding to the ambience. We had the pasta dish, a salad and two glasses of wine. It was the perfect romantic spot for us!
There are far better choices for dining in Big Bear. We ordered medium rare steaks and they arrived a touch under well done. Our server was not attentive and only visited once after our food arrived. Worst of all, they have a credit card surcharge. Who in this day charges customers to use a credit card?
The staff was awesome, but we had a party of over 10, and only one person complimented the food. It wasn't bad, but there was no flavor. Everyone had something different, so that was a bit disappointing as I would love to be able to say that you need to try the Italian or the Mexican. I never put salt or pepper on any dish I get from a restaurant, and I ordered the Chicken Cabonara and there was no taste at all. Plus everyone's dish did not come at one time. Some of us were already half way done when others got theirs. I hate to say, we were not impressed.

Only place we found with a lake view, good service and a diverse menu. Music was a little loud but they turned it down.
Service, quality, quantity and character Waitress was great with a sense of humor. Everything ordered was tasty and well seasoned Quantity was not expected - we ordered two appetizers and could have stopped there but none could finish their meals. Recommend the cheesy bread, artichoke dip, carneasada fries and chicken parm sandwich.
This restaurant has a huge room inside, enough for a party of 150. It has a large Bar. There is a large outside area, where we ate at. This place does require you to wear a mask to come into the restaurant, and if you're not eating or drinking. Most people didn't have a mask on once they got a drink and were seated. I tried the spinach ravioli, with artichokes on top and tomatoes. It was very very good. My husband had chicken piccata and really like that. They have a very nice menu. They have the seating in a way that you're not real close to each other. We found the chairs comfortable. It's a very nice place. You do have to drive up a long driveway to get to the parking. From the street it doesn't look like it's open oh, but it is. Well worth going to.
Six of us for dinner. Long wait to get into a basically empty restuarant. Very slow service. Constant blasting music. Asked to turn it down, never happened. Never refilled my $4 coke. Scallops Nd shrimp pasta was excellent but could enjoy due to the noise
My family of 4 visited this restaurant during our stay in Big Bear. The waitress was friendly and answered our questions. The waitress explained that the owners wanted to provide food options that all would enjoy. While the massive menu of Steaks, Italian, Mexican, Asian are offered with great intentions, I am not sure that helps food quality. Our order included: New York steak (good), Carne Asada Burrito (OK), Carne Asada tacos with rice & black beans (OK), Chicken Fajitas with rice & black beans (Very Good). The rice and black beans were barely warm and Carne asada was simply grilled with no seasoning. The chicken fajitas were very good with great seasoning. Ultimately our food experience was very average.
