Went here to try a different eatery than the one near our motel.Firstly we were seated promptly and the wait staff came and took our orders right away. My spouse got the mahi mahi tacos and I got the clam chowder in a sourdough bowl. The tacos were good, light and tasty and had a good melding of flavors. The buffalo cauliflower bites, beer-battered fries, and burger were all good. The orange chicken salad was big and good; only remark was they forgot to dress it. Our waitress was clearly inexperienced but that just made it adorable.The atmosphere of the Lodge, taken as a whole, with the lobby, gift area, trails is great. The outdoor river side dining is nice. Bars inside and out. Drinks were reasonably priced but the prices of the food offset that.
After a hike in the park, we had dinner at homestead. Had to wait patiently for more than 20 mins for our food to arrive. I liked their beer battered fries. The prices are higher than other restaurants outside the park.
