Post Ranch Inn completely won me over after four incredible nights. It’s what intentional luxury should feel and look like. Perched high above the Pacific, it instantly calms your mind with serene circular rooms, the sound of the ocean, and soft natural light.
My head to toe spa experience felt deeply restorative, and dining at the Michelin recognized on-site restaurant Sierra Mar was a treat. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. This was truly an unforgettable escape that I’d love to revisit and continue sharing with others who value connecting with nature, intentional rest and restoration ✨

everything else is pretty good - but it's 2025 and there is no good reason not to have excellent wifi at a luxury resort like this.

My wife and I drove past this place 5 years ago, we never thought we would be able to stay here but here we are 5 years later staying in the beautiful Peace room. To say this property is breathtaking is an understatement, having a room right on the ocean front is so so amazing. The staff is also so amazing, especially our driver taking us to our room, you could tell he truly loved working here and knew a ton about the property. Everything about this property is beyond luxurious. Even had some Lexus cars to drive around. Highly recommend this place for a weekend getaway. Worth every penny

Throughout my stay, I was met with poor communication, slow service, and a distinct lack of attention to basic guest needs. Every request felt like an inconvenience to the staff. Instead of fostering a comfortable and relaxing environment, the overall atmosphere was dismissive and careless.
Post Ranch Inn markets itself as a peaceful, premium retreat. What I experienced was the exact opposite. For the high price paid, the value was drastically low, and the service did not come close to matching the advertised luxury claim.
I rarely write negative feedback, but this stay was so disappointing that I felt compelled to share. I sincerely hope management takes these critical issues seriously. Let me start by saying I absolutely adore Post Ranch Inn and its staff. Tim & DJ are always there to promptly take care of and handle what matters, the property is absolutely stunning and it’s clear to me mostly everyone is putting their best foot forward!
However and unfortunately while visiting recently, and upon recounting my past several experiences in the spa specifically - the staff morale there seems low due to poor leadership.
As someone who has worked in workplaces that are toxic, and empathizes with employees that might be going through something similar - I can read between the lines enough to know that the spa employees aren’t being taken care of or guided in the way that they should.
When asking to be booked each time I’ve visited, the concierge (who are ALWAYS amazing!) usually tell me they are “fully booked” but I just know this isn’t true! I’ve also encountered the therapists (who are all, also AMAZING!) running short on supplies.
I just feel something very heavy there, and I can’t quite put my finger on it. But it feels like and my sense is that they aren’t being supported, and that they also might be afraid to speak up due to unsupportive leadership?
It simply doesn’t make SENSE! Post Ranch Inn is BY FAR the BEST resort I’ve ever come across!
I’ve never seen the manager on shift when I visit so haven’t gotten to speak to him or her about this directly - but please check in with your spa employees well being - something seems amiss.
I only leave three stars as I aim to represent my opinion of this company both behind - and in front of - the curtain.

The ultimate luxurious getaway. We came for a long weekend, you just can’t beat the views here, it’s so majestic and the smell is so amazing too, I wish they could make a candle of woods and sea. The service is as 5 star as it gets, they really make you feel like you are their most special guest. Food is amazing! Wine, incredible and chosen for each course. We slept so well too, can’t wait to go back!
