Flo's Diner is a super cute 50s style diner with exciting decor, comfy booths, an old fashioned juke box, and a patio. It is located in Chalfant Valley, near Highway 395 and Highway 6, and is worth going out of your way for. The menu has a very big variety of food, from Mexican food like delicious tortas, a Cali burrito, and homemade salsas, to American classics. These include excellent burgers like the Hop Along Cassidy burger, a tasty Marilyn Monroe sandwich, a beef sandwich, a BLT, hot dogs, and a combo pizza that is probably the best in the Bishop area. They also feature fish and chips, chicken, various dinner options, appetizers, soup, salads, and homemade chili, plus kiddie options.
The food is consistently good, delicious, and big. Sides include homemade fries, garlic fries, charred pepper and onion, rice, and beans. They also have a wonderful chocolate malt. The service is great, quick, kind, chatty, attentive, and very professional. The diner is very clean, with spotless bathrooms for customers only. The patio allows dogs and features live music on Saturdays. The stop is well worth it, and they also have a small convenience store market for snacks. Flo's Diner is a really fun place and highly recommended.
