“Delicious cafe set inside an adorable book store. Had the chicken curry on toasted sourdough (delicious), avocado toast (avocado was perfect) and dessert waffle (divine) plus golden milk lattes (perfectly flavored/not sweet). “This restaurant is AMAZING! My fiance and i drove from las vegas through bishop and were hungry for some brunch. We found this place on google and boy let me tell u it was a hidden gem. The food was so good i spent some time getting to know the owner (since there was some down time) and he let me know that its just him and his son working the business. The restaurant is dedicated to serving the highschool students near by (GO BRONCOS!). They get extremely busy thanks to them. If u have an opportunity to check them out, please do yourself a favor. The prices are extremely reasonable and u get a great portion, needless to say, the flavor was NOT lacking.They have plenty of seating inside and it was really clean!”

“The empanadas are to die for, so tasty with a lovely spicy sauce also highly recommend the Brussels sprouts with tahini dressing, delish ! (Especially loved that they were not covered in sugary balsamic as is so often found in the US, so actually more healthy). The vibe is great, so much so we came back 3 nights, there’s a lovely bustle of hikers and climbers and lots of board games. We especially loved on our last night, which was a Tuesday, that there was a fiddle band, really cool to hear some local musicians ?”

“A friend of mine told me about this place because they have live music on Friday and incredible fajitas. It did not disappoint. The service was fantastic. The Ultimate Cadillac was delicious! The fajitas were perfectly cooked and so flavorful. I don’t know how this does not have 5 stars. HIGHLY RECOMMEND if in Bishop. Will definitely be back.”

“Tried Gojira Ramen for the first time this week and were very pleased with the experience! Staff were very friendly and attentive, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the food exceed our expectations. Would recommend the black garlic tried tonkotsu ramen, Chicken Karaage, and Gojira Roll. Nice to have another food option here in Bishop. Will be returning!”

“When I want a good, solid and filling burrito-to-go, Salsa's in Bishop is the best. Their burritos could easily become a daily habit, except that they are a little pricey and don't offer chips and salsa with the takeout. $15.50 for a burrito, rice, beans and meat as of 12/19/2023. Add 18% tip on top of that.”
