Salsa's Taqueria - Bishop Reviews
Best Mexican food in Bishop, hands down. My wife and I moved here from LA (she’s originally from Mexico) and this is the only Mexican food place she’ll even get close to out here. We tried all of them, Las Palmas, Astorga’s (what a joke that was), Amigo’s, Ranchito, Mercado etc etc etc…. This is our spot. We liked Taqueria Mi Guadalajara too but Salsa’s seems to be our go-to.
Listen folks, I've been to many places, all over the world, and I've had a lot of tacos. But this taco plate? It's a winner. The beans, the rice - it's all tremendous. Other places? They're okay, but this place is doing something special. Some people might say otherwise, but don't listen to them. I've got the best taste, everybody says so. If you want the real deal, the very best, you have to try this taco plate. It's YUGE!

When I want a good, solid and filling burrito-to-go, Salsa's in Bishop is the best. Their burritos could easily become a daily habit, except that they are a little pricey and don't offer chips and salsa with the takeout. $15.50 for a burrito, rice, beans and meat as of 12/19/2023. Add 18% tip on top of that.
