This is by far hands down the best Mexican restaurant in the Owens Valley. The diablo shrimp is to die for. It is the best family dining experience ever.
The food is absolutely amazing and always fresh. The owners and staff are wonderful people. I highly recommend.

Based on the reviews, Taquería Las Palmas is a fantastic Mexican restaurant in Bishop. The food is amazing, with the chile relleno and chilli relleno with Chilli Verde being "to die for." Other excellent meals include carnitas tacos, a cheese enchilada verde, a soft chicken taco, nachos, a burrito, and a taco. The beans are "out of this world" and authentic, and the chips & salsa are delicious. The Cadillac margarita in a frozen schooner is another highlight. The service is excellent, friendly, and welcoming, even on a busy Cinco de Mayo night. The atmosphere is very cool, reminding guests of a place in Mexico. The restaurant has been family owned for 36 years. It is a great find for travelers passing through or stopping on the way to Death Valley or Mammoth. Many reviewers say it is their favorite Mexican restaurant and highly recommend it.
