“The service was superb, everyone is so friendly and accommodating. The food is also superb. I ordered the classic taco plate and it is exactly what I wanted...classic street style tacos. Margaritas were tasty and not too strong or weak. 100% would recommend this place”
“This place is such a treasure ?This vibe with the snow view is insane! Food is good too, Bloody Mary and Spicy Thai latte just make me want to stay here forever.”
“While the food is pretty awful here, the view is stunning, and on par with the Alps. The tragedy is that the food is pretty bad. Imagine if this was Europe and they actually had good food. It might be a destination restaurant.”
“STEPH JUDGEMENT: Fun place for a drink, nosh, and hang. We were looking for a place to catch a UCLA football game while in the area and this place came up as a promising choice. Located on the main drag in June Lake Village, it's a good-sized casual bar. You can also get food from the pizza place June Pie next door. We bellied up to the bar and the friendly bartender obligingly found the game for us, but they get their sports via YouTube, which wasn't the most convenient system, but it eventually worked out. This is not a dedicated sports bar, so your mileage may vary. That said, it was a comfortable place to hang out, drink, and eat a delicious margherita pizza. And we got to see our game so I'd say it was a success overall.”
“Thank you June Mountain Team! Everyone was very friendly and helpful, from the check in staff, ski lift crew, rental team, and the kitchen staff (especially the tall gentleman who served the delicious chili fries with all the fixings on top!) Thank you thank you thank you! I will definitely come back!”
“Food was very good and they give you good sized portions. Prices are very reasonable too. The staff was very polite and checked on us regularly. This will be one of our got to spots when we visit June Lake Loop.”
“Their pizza is so delicious! So lucky to have such a good pizza place in June Lake. I’ve eaten here a half dozen times and the pizza is so good, prices are reasonable and the staff is always friendly. I will keep coming back here for sure!”
“Me, my brother in law, and his son got stuck here after finding out the YART bus was 12 hour in advance registration at this location. We explained our situation to the very nice young lady at the counter our situation, about trying to get back to our car in Tuolumne Meadows, and pick up a sick family member in Silver Lake. Not only did she help us out with our predicament, she call the owner of the gas station, who then came and drove us to Lee Vining in his car. We offered payment, but it was refused. I know I cannot make anyone do anything, but if you are driving through the area, please stop in and support these very kind people. It was a true blessing to see not only to meet kind folk, but ones that truly believe in community. From the bottom of my heart, thank you!”
“Fun time at the local brewery. Good selection of bears and a good local hangout. It's a little cold when it snows, but it's part of the experience. I'm definitely coming back.”
“it was freezing in there. my order was wrong and they brought it back cold. only one waiter at lunch time.we had to get our condiments from other tables ourselves. the plates the food was served on were cold. all around a bad experience for the price and the drive. the waiter was brain dead. sorry but that's how he acted. Then on top of it all my disabled granddaughter nearly fell on some kids shoes the entitled mother let her leave directly in front of the door. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone.”
“All was good until we split the bill into three. One of us gave cash tip of 20 dollars cuz that’s the only cash we had Jill got very upset making her remark “That’s all I get on a 300 dollar bill with an angry face. Well everyone else was leaving a tip added to there debit cards. She should have looked before making her remarks. No one is obligated to leaving a tip. A tip is left when someone is extra happy with the service. And we’re treated well. Which we were until the tip problem happened.”
“This is the only place you should come to start your day in Mammoth. Great coffee drinks and even greater breakfast burritos ready to go. Gets a little crowded but if you just need coffee and food to go this is a great choice.”
“We had the lamb burger and the lamb and potato curry tonight and both were amazing! My husband and I both agree it was the best curry we’ve ever had. Wonderful welcoming atmosphere and personal touch from Tina! We love Dish Bistro!”
“Everything (and more) you could ask for in a mountain town brewery. Amazing beers, they break it out by different types in big sections. As a fan of hoppier beers they had great choices, although nothing felt too bitter comparatively.”
“We made reservation in July for Labor Day weekend with friends. Great dining experience, excellent food, good wine ( we’re not wine people, but they helped us find a good wine) , great desserts. Excellent service, attentive staff from chef down to busboys. Can’t wait til we come back again”
“This place is pretty good, our food came out hot and fresh, our server was nice and I really enjoyed the prime rib french dip w/ zucchini. My boyfriend got the Sierra sunrise skillet and a side of Mac n cheese. Had us full all day ready for our next adventure. Irish coffee is one of my fav so I had to order that and it didn't disappoint. Worth a try :)”
“Thanks to Yelp i found a cute, outdoor breakfast spot that specializes in crepes! I wanted something quick, before we hit the slopes and this place was just right. We got lucky with the warm (-ish) sunny day and since the sitting is outdoors only it was perfect breakfast with fresh mountain air and snow all around us. The menu has savory and sweet crepes and i appreciated that they also use buckwheat flour, which goes well with savory fillings. Customer service was friendly and our crepes came out pretty fast. I took off one star because i paid extra for an egg to be added to my crepe and didn't see or taste any? Another suggestion, add avocado and tomatoes to your list of Add On ingredients. We will be back again next time we are in Mammoth Lakes.”
“The outdoor, pet-friendly deck was awesome. The weather was perfect, the waiter was adorbs, the service was great and the food was excellent. The tomato bisque was off the chain. We’re from Florida and this place is a little gem.”
“I’m taking this time to write a review since my family and I were very happy and thankful for the wonderful experience we had during our stay in Mammoth. From the time I made a reservation until we checked out, it was all a breeze. We were taken care of very well and never had an issue of any sort. The Obsidian is definitely a luxury property worth spending for if you have at least 9 family members joining the trip. My kids checked in at Juniper Springs hotel and they loved it as well. Thanks to Tomas for picking the best unit for us and for Harry for checking in with me even after our stay. We will for sure come back soon.”
“For a pho place in Mammoth, this place is quite amazing. Staff was very friendly and courteous. He was super efficient. Food was great. We felt very well taken care off.”
“Since moving to Mammoth back in August, I have been very disappointed with the dining choices. Elixir is fabulous! So happy to finally find such wonderful flavor profiles. the chicken on my salad was very well prepared and the smoothies were outstanding!”
“10/10. Entertaining presentation. Fantastic food! All of the beef was out of this world! Unbelievably exceptional service. Great salads. And the absolute best espresso martini there is! Mic drop with the grilled pineapple. Wonderful experience & enjoyable evening.”
“This is our go to place for a delicious elegant meal! The ambience is perfect. Beautiful views of the mountains, quiet and never feel rushed. Price point is good. Wait staff friendly and knowledgeable. The carpaccio is fabulous as is the French onion soup. Can't miss with the filet, short rib pasta or the Duck Confit. Per my waiter's son's suggestion, pass on the specials.”
“Our “must go to” pizza and salad place every time we come to Mammoth. Single salad serves two people generously and is super fresh with great toppings! Thai chicken pizza is excellent! Staff are very nice and seating is a bit limited but we always manage to get a table.”
“We are picky about coffee. So many bitter and really acidic coffees get sold that I think are just undrinkable. My go-to has been Peet's Major Dickasons. I absolutely love Mammoth Coffee's "Into the Woods" blend. It is so delicious and smooth. I definitely am willing to try more out from them.”
“Espresso is great here! Food is very limited to waffles and muffins so don’t come here if you’re looking for a big breakfast. No egg burritos or egg muffins or eggs etc. highly recommend for espresso. The place could use to be refurbished not great seating and decorations but for cofffee it’s fine. Besides that haven’t tried it for wine”
“Awesome food! Hubby liked the bratwurst and the fries. The fries have tasty seasonings. I had a salad that was awesome. I also had the flat bread that was delicious. Highly recommend!”
“I highly recommend Petra's if you love amazing wines and world class food. The mushrooms are a delight. The octopus sublime. But the lamb is delicious. Service is exceptional. I don't have anything negative to say about this restaurant.”
“Good drink options, Strong pours, hearty food. Favorite place to stop while on the mountain in mammoth. Get the potato with chili and boozy hot chocolate, won’t disappoint!”
“What a treat to have such amazing food in June Lake! I came for lunch and some pastries yesterday and came again today for some more pastries! Could be the best we've ever had. Also, such a nice couple. We will be back when we come to June Lake again!”
