“From the first bite of Growlers juicy fall-off-the-bone ribs I knew I was tasting the best of California Central Coast style barbecue! (often called Santa Maria bbq). The owner, Will is a master of the style – slow cook open pit and it’s all about the smoke, no sauce needed. The chicken is absolutely the best I have ever had. I now plan my trips to the east side around Growlers!”
“Stopped at this place twice passing through the Owens Valley. The bakery is lovely- they make their own bread and sweets- and they also make breakfast and lunch sandwiches. Their homemade BLT sandwiches on their own bread were tasty. The star of the show was their sweets. Excellent brownie and their coconut macaroons which they call haystacks. Definitely the best we've eaten. They mix dates and walnuts in with them, and it gives a whole other rich layer of flavors.”
“Great atmosphere and service. WARNING, THEY ONLY HAVE THEIR WINTER (LIMITED) MENU, CONSISTING OF PIZZA AND HOD DOGS WITH OR WITHOUT CHILI.Parking: Can park on the side street or the parking spaces located in back of the establishment.”
“Another family favorite! Every year we vacation to Twin Lakes and stay at Mono Village. Within our weeks vacation we come to the brewery at least twice! We love it, the owners are very nice and welcoming! Beers are delicious and I always get the red ale. There's outside seating as well as inside with a beautiful view of the town! Can't wait to return next year!”
“We stopped here on our way home from Mammoth. Everything here was absolutely delicious, and everyone working were so friendly and kind. The fries were crispy and the onion rings were the best onion rings I've ever had! The Nachos had so many delicious toppings and the salsa was made fresh! Great spot. Would definitely recommend.”
