“What a great find. The women behind the counter were very sweet and friendly. We had two sandwiches, a Mexican mocha and some freshly baked seasonal breads. EVERYTHING was fresh and perfectly executed. The flavors were phenomenal. I highly recommend this stop before heading toward or away from your adventures.”

“You can't go wrong with ANYTHING at Mono Cone! 👏🍦❤️🌮🍔 And don't let anyone tell you that you can't go there on the way to wherever you're going, and then again on the way back...and even twice in one day 😉 Grab it, and walk around the corner to eat it at Hess Park while you love on the view of Mono Lake. You can let your feast settle while you visit the upside down school house and the Lee Vining museum. Mono Cone is more than just soft serve... it's magic.”

“The buffalo meatloaf I have it every year when I’m up here visiting. A real taste treat, and the garlic mashed potatoes are great as well. You would never expect to find food like this at a gas station. Do yourself a favor, stop in and eat when you’re up here visiting.”

“This little gem deserves 5 stars. The food was some of the best we've had since travelling around the U.S. for the last 2 weeks. It's the start of the season so the front of house are backpackers and learning the ropes but are very friendly and accomadating. We have been here twice so far on our stay.”

“Really cool small town diner. We were in a bit of a hurry, so we stopped in for a breakfast burrito. It was prepared quickly and was very good. We also ordered some cut up fruit(well, I thought it was cut up fruit). They instead, threw half a cantaloupe in the bag. Haha had a heck of a time trying to cut it with a plastic butter knife. All in all very good.”

“This is a BBQ restaurant! The bad reviews seem to be complaining about mediocre burgers and steaks. I tried the beef rib BBQ plate and it was great. The $30+ price for beef ribs was reasonable compared to BBQ restaurants in Texas. It comes with unlimited salad bar and soup.”
