“CJ and Carl made tonight's dinner the best meal we've had in Mammoth.

All the wait staff did an amazing job!

What really made our meal was when the staff realized that we liked rare meat, they went out of their way to bring us the best rare pieces. THAT, is what separates a good restaurant from a great restaurant!

The ambiance was perfect, it wasn't loud and they sat us right next to the fire! The tables even have little lights to better see the food, it was just a really nice touch. The velvet chairs were some of the nicest I've ever sat on in a restaurant.

The standout dishes for myself and my partner were the marinated skirt steak and the picanha.

Bottom line, tonight was a great meal in a classy restaurant with attentive staff.

“The Mill is our go-to for a midday break from the slopes. The bartenders here are fantastic – friendly, attentive, and always make us feel welcome.
The pulled pork and tri-tip sandwich is absolutely delicious. Perfectly seasoned, tender, and just what you need to refuel before heading back out. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it the ideal spot to recharge.
We stop here every time we're at Mammoth, and it never disappoints. Highly recommend!”

“I came around 7pm to hang for an hour before closing on a few nights and enjoyed an awesome combination of excellent wine, punk rock ambiance, and an awesome bartender that sort of felt like a Spanish metropolitan Tapas bar. I loved it and will keep coming back. This is my kind of apres ski hangout. It’s a very relaxing one of a kind experience to get this in the sierras at Mammoth, it feels like another world within another world.”

“The Mexican mocha latte is maybe a little too sweet for me but still very good. I went back for it again. To be fair I didn’t ask for it to be made less sweet and I’m sure they would if asked, but it was early and the thought didn’t cross my mind until later lol.

“Honestly that was a good sandwich. Grilled patties, caramelized onions, Pastrami. It’s rich and balanced. Fries were good too. Crispy and well seasoned. Thick cuts. But 23$ for that sandwich is insane. Probably will go back to starving on ski days.”

“Hi - I travelled all over California, from Australia. Black Velvet Coffee made us HANDS DOWN the best cup of coffee in the state. The staff were friendly, the venue is Excellent - MAN - I can't wait to get back to Mammoth to have another coffee :) note: most Australians drink Espresso - and these guys KNEW how to properly prepare espresso and frothed milk drinks. “The Outpost is one of the coolest places to take a break while skiing at Mammoth. It’s located mid-mountain and has an awesome outdoor setup where you can relax, warm up, and enjoy the views before heading back out on the slopes.

The atmosphere is fantastic. There are fire pits, picnic tables, and plenty of space to sit outside and enjoy the mountain scenery. On a sunny day it’s an amazing place to stop, grab some food, and recharge between runs.

They’re known for their grilled cheese and soups, which really hit the spot when you’ve been skiing all morning. Simple comfort food, but perfect for the mountain environment. Sitting by the fire pits with a hot meal while looking out over the snow-covered slopes makes for a great ski break.

The setting is what really makes The Outpost special. Surrounded by mountains and trees, it has that relaxed mid-mountain lodge vibe that makes Mammoth such a great ski destination.

If you’re skiing Mammoth Mountain, The Outpost is definitely worth stopping at for a break, good food, and one of the best mid-mountain hangout spots on the hill.”

“We picked up pizza and wings and it was all excellent! Cool and comfortable atmosphere with tons of seating and a huge bar. The open kitchen is a nice touch and the order kiosk for take-out was super easy to use. Staff was very friendly and welcoming, but maybe most importantly, the pizza was awesome! The crust is super flavorful and the red sauce is far from generic. Looking forward to trying more of the fun options on the menu… Well done!”

“Locals parking lot and puppy lovers. Access to only 2 chairs vs main or canyon which offers more chair access. Be aware of huge lines when u park there. Chair 2 & 10 usually have frequent holds.”

“Everything was good. The service, the guacamole is incredible, the food comes out quickly and it’s better than anything else in Mammoth. Better than a lot of Mexican food in San Diego and reasonably priced. Don’t waste your money and the fancy looking village restaurants, this is the best Mexican food in Mammoth”

“Very cute place inside Juniper Springs Resort. They have Starbucks coffee and milk alternatives (like oat). They also have various food items you can pick up to go. No seating here - all takeout.”

“Bloody Marys are masterfully crafted, perfectly peppery, and just the right amount of spiciness. The Mill is the perfect on mountain spot to grab a drink and hang out in a lounge chair. I got an order of the chili cheese fries and was pleasantly surprised!While there's not a lot of indoor seating, there's plenty of outdoor hightops by the bar that open up quickly as well as patio tables and lounge chairs closer to the lifts.”

This is more than just a bar but a third space for the local community and tourists alike. Plus, the food is delicious! You can’t go wrong, there are so many options for yummy elevated comfort food. They also to group orders and catering.

“We went here around 4:30 pm, and thankfully they still accepted us for a quick meal for our early dinner. When we were directed to our table, our chairs by the window had so many crumbs, but it was fine since we arrived near their closing time.

We got the Sausage Hunter's Platter, which was so good, and the Haus Salad, which was mid but still decent.”

“We come up from Los Angeles a family of four and this place absolutely does the trick when it comes to prices and quality. There are a few places in that area in the village that are just tourist traps overpriced for service poor quality I am so surprised at the quality of the New York Deli Bakery it's just good and cheap and they really catered to all crowds don't even pack your lunch for the day if you're going to go on the mountain or for a hike the warm packet for you it's an awesome place”

Sushi is pretty legit for a mountain town, loved the lemon roll!
Also only tried the veggie ramen and can definitely recommend it - options for everyone”
