“We were so glad to find this place in the Snowcreek resort (inside the athletic club) while on vacation in Mammoth! Our family - including grandparents and young kids - all enjoyed breakfast, lunch, and dinner here on several occasions. Each meal was delicious and also exceptionally healthy, satiating, and of high quality - hard to find in restaurant food. The prices were very reasonable for the area and superb quality of ingredients. We loved walking over from our condo in the resort for meals or just one of their delicious iced espressos. The owners and their staff are all super friendly... it felt more like going over to a friend's place for a delicious homecooked meal instead of your every-day restaurant. the atmosphere was welcoming and had space for our 5 year old to let loose and play. Worth the drive if you're not near the resort as well. We will be back on our next trip to the area for sure!“

“Honestly that was a good sandwich. Grilled patties, caramelized onions, Pastrami. It’s rich and balanced. Fries were good too. Crispy and well seasoned. Thick cuts. But 23$ for that sandwich is insane. Probably will go back to starving on ski days.“

“This is a reslly cute lodge. The rooms are really nice, spacious. Good air-conditioning as it can be hot in the summers. The couple whorun the lodge are so nice. highly recommend this place!“

“FREE! Really like parking here and using it as "a home base" for our ski day. Small lot fills quickly, but you can drop off skiers close to the lifts and find ample parking along side of road. We bring a picnic lunch and usually manage to get a closer spot at lunchtime. The Mill Cafe has decent food choices, too.“

“Morrison's has a great atmosphere. We sat at the bar and enjoyed a world cup game. The bartender Casey is a skilled mixologist, and makes an outstanding Old Fashion. The nachos were tasty and had plenty of toppings. Going back for a dinner soon.“

Wendy the cashier (“like Peter Pan and hamburgers” as she introduces herself) is a national treasure. Her attentiveness and impeccable humor made our experience thoroughly enjoyable. She had warmly welcomed us at breakfast when we stayed here last year, and we were so glad to enjoy her hospitality this time around too.

All the staff we interacted with were super friendly and helpful. Make sure to get in line early in the summer before it gets long; and when the line does get long, more hikers should show the staff the patience and respect they deserve.“

“Bloody Marys are masterfully crafted, perfectly peppery, and just the right amount of spiciness. The Mill is the perfect on mountain spot to grab a drink and hang out in a lounge chair. I got an order of the chili cheese fries and was pleasantly surprised!While there's not a lot of indoor seating, there's plenty of outdoor hightops by the bar that open up quickly as well as patio tables and lounge chairs closer to the lifts.“

“This restaurant is located on the second floor inside Monmouth Mountain In, which makes is convenient and one of very few dining options in the area. Restaurant is beautiful, well maintained and offers plenty of seating. Service is good and staff is very friendly. Food, however, could be better considering a price tag of $32-$48 per main dish. Both the salmon and fingerling potatoes were very greasy; short rib fries appetizer is just chunks of meat on top of fries with a bit of marinated onions of squirts of mayo; rosemary airline chicken breast is tiny and dry and mashed potatoes don’t have much flavor at all.“

“Stayed in Outbound Lodge and came him a few times for food and drinks.
Bar staff take their time to speak to their customers and we really felt valued by their service and them remembering us when we returned. Great service and can't praise the staff enough, even the ones who didnt directly serve us seemed to value us.
The bar was also great to speak to other customers.
Downside was the games room had loads of arcade machines but most seemed to be broken and controls didn't work properly. Frustrating as the games were really good and would have loved to play them with my children.“
