“No, that's literally an incredible place with an amazing view. I was chilling while I was observing the bath lake and eating the very, very tasty food, and the service was really nice. It looks like the waiters are really professionals who are working in this area for lots of years. I really like that the atmosphere is all old times, so I can imagine the time like in the 1999 visiting this place. For sure, it's cool“

The four girls, my husband, and I all ordered something different, and every single plate was absolutely packed with flavor. Hands down the best chicken fried steak I’ve ever had from a restaurant. The pull-apart ribs were perfectly tender and full of flavor, and the tri-tip was smoked to perfection. the youngest was completely lost in her pizza — which honestly looked amazing — and every bite around the table got rave reviews. The portions were huge too… we’re all heading home with lunch for tomorrow! If you’re anywhere near Oakhurst, do yourself a favor and check out Mountain Oaks Cafe. “on a 10000 mile cross country trip and 1st time in Yosemite, staying at the Sierra Sky Ranch. they recommended SGB for lunch, and it did not disappoint. our hardest task was deciding what to choose as there were so many delicious items to choose from we decided on two different burgers and shared. both were delicious and cooked perfectly. the staff, energy, vibe and music were all fantastic. I would highly recommend SGB to all for a great meal and beer.“

“I highly recommend Idle Hour winery and kitchen in Oakhurst. I found out about the winery when looking for a place to eat in the area on the Internet and I’m so glad I did. It was one of my more memorable meals. I had one of their wines, which was outstanding with a salmon dinner accompanied by a very large salad. I usually don’t have dessert, but, being gluten-free, I decided to try their flourless chocolate cake. I’ve never had one I’ve particularly liked, but I doubt that I will be able to resist that dessert the next time I go for dinner, although I will have to try their Sunday brunch next.“
