“Beautiful stay at Miller’s Landing. We chose to come up late in the season and I cannot say enough about staying in cabin 11A. Most of the family was able to come up and join us. Cool enough to do a lot of hiking. We had a great time and ate great food at Miller’s. I think I’m spoiled and won’t be able to go back to camping ? Michelle was lovely and helpful. We will head back same time next year!“

“You can't beat the view. It's lovely at any hour of the day. If you can make it to breakfast before 11am, it's delicious. Try the raspberry french toast. It's delectable. Between the houses of 11am and 4pm, this more upscale part of the restaurant is closed, but you can grab lunch upstairs, at their more casual dining restaurant and bar. I had the Poke bowl, and really loved it. It was also quite the hefty portion. So definitely a lot of bang for your buck. Dinner at Ducey's downstairs us a little more upscale without being boujee. The filet mignon is incredible. I also have to mention that it's very family friendly and that I appreciated the sweet treatment my kids received while there.“

The Cellar Cocktail Bar
48688 Victoria Ln, Oakhurst - 4.52 miles

“We have been anticipating a visit and dining experience for several years. The dining room is well appointed and the service by the bar tender (before dinner drinks), sommelier, and wait staff was very engaging, attentive, and with perfect timing. I have one opinion and one disappointment. OPINION; We ordered the wine pairing for both meals ($140) and felt a full bottle of wine would have been a better choice based on the portions we received for the pairing service. DISAPPOINTMENT; At the bottom of the menu in very very small print (4pt?) was stated a 22% service charge is added. Both my wife and I missed this aspect of the menu. I have two comments on this; for a restaurant of this caliber and amount of service charge, valet parking should be offered. It was raining the night we dined and self parking was not the way we wanted to go. When the bill was delivered, there was no mention of the included 22% service charge. Not hearing this and not seeing the minuscule print at the bottom of the menu, I added a tip of 20% which was on top of the already included 22% tip. The wait person never made reference to my mistake. Had my wife not suggested for me to double check the bill, I would have left a tip of 42% on almost a $400.00 bill. You do the math. Fortunately, we found the mistake before leaving and the bill was amended as requested.“

“This place has it all. End of a long day for a weary traveler? Get your spirits uplifted by Felicia or Josh, and Debbie, the host with a heart. You feel renewed before the food even arrives. And then the ribeye steak and blackened salmon are to die for ... don't forget the Keylime pie. I'll be back.“

Idle Hour Winery & Kitchen Wineries • $$

“Small winery on the way to Yosemite's south side entrance. We stopped here after a brief visit to the nearby Bass Lake for their wine tasting. The wine selection was good (favorite was the red blend) but the charcuterie board was absolutely amazing (the blue cheese they serve + jam was delicious - and this is coming from someone who typically doesn't like blue cheese). Staff were super friendly and they allow dogs inside which is fantastic on a cold day. Definitely stop by for a sip and a bite.“

“I kept wondering if Mrs Craig Vanessa was really an expert trader like they say, that she is not a scammer like the others, then I contacted her and I was shocked and amazed that with just $1,500 I invested, Mrs. Craig Vanessa helped me managed my account and after 7 Days of trading, I made my first withdrawal of $16,700. “I was traveling from the Yosemite area back to Los Angeles early on a Saturday morning and needed breakfast. Given the lure of the cheapest gas in the area, I thought I would give the casino a try for a meal. I'm glad I did! The room is well lit and features high-ceiling big-timber lodge decor with a river-rock fireplace as the visual centerpiece. The service here is excellent - likely the most attentive I've experienced in a long time. I was seated immediately, with coffee and water (with lemon wedge!) dropped off in moments. The menu is classic American diner/cafe and is exactly what I needed. I know this menu is somewhat out of fashion right now but for me it's comfortingly nostalgic. My "create your own omelette" with spinach, bacon and cheddar was perfectly cooked along with hashbrowns and sourdough toast, which were exactly what you would expect for a place like this. The portions of spinach and bacon were generous, and the eggs were perfectly cooked. My water and coffee were kept topped up throughout the meal and my payment was promptly collected tableside. If you are in the area and need a quick meal, good basic food at a reasonable price, I highly recommend dropping in at Noh?o?“

“Had a long day in Yosemite and wanted to stop for a bite to eat before we headed home so we decided to try this restaurant. It's located inside Tenya Lodge across the lobby. The inside of the restaurant is very cozy and we sat next to the indoor fireplace. We were sat right away and someone immediately brought us waters while we waited. Our server was pretty busy but made sure we knew he was around. He absolutely made the experience with his kindness. The menu is pretty small so it's easy to go through. We tried the BLTA, the caesar salad, pasta, and the steakhouse burger. The food was overall pretty good especially the Caesar salad! The star of the show however was the dessert!! Soooo good!! I can't remember what it's exactly called but the toffee dessert was our favorite!! I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area.“
