“This is my favorite little bar in Shaver Lake. Best burger and Philly Cheesesteak in the town of Shaver. Great beer and wine selection. Small bar, super cozy and friendly. The locals are entertaining and welcoming. Best part is the bartenders, Dee Dee, Chantelle, Ricky, and occasional appearance of Tom or Quinn. Love this place!Oh and don't forget to try the deep fried artichoke hearts or the mushrooms. YUMMY!“
“Beautiful leisurely drive through the mountains and stopped in for lunch that was so good we'd eat it off a rolling truck tire! Satoko took such attentive care of us and was the funnest lady ever... Ask for her. We got the steak bites with horseradish and the short branch grubber burger with bacon, pastrami and blue cheese... OMG.... Serious yumminess!!! Thank you Satoko!!“
“I was intrigued by the "World Famous chunky bread" there was much more then that deliciousness that made the visit special. The crew was so nice and recommended some great things. The breakfast burrito was like it was home made. The pancakes were perfectly fluffy with a slight crisp. The ambiance was that of a mom and pop all about local feel. “We stayed in one of the cabins. Beautifully renovated. Super clean and the beds were very comfortable. Bathrooms were all new sink, toilet and shower stall. Love that they kept the rustic appeal with original doors and windows. Cute little replica Frigidaire mini refrigerator. Microwave and coffeepot too. The heater works well and kept us plenty warm and plenty of hot water. Wish we could have stayed longer such a beautiful view of Huntington. Just a stroll to the water.Pat“
“I went right before they closed, not realizing they were closing soon. I ordered a vanilla latte with oatmilk. It was a bit on the sweet side, I prefer my lattes a bit less sweet. I would go back and try their other drinks, it's a cute coffee shop right in the heart of Shaver Lake. I'd like to go when they aren't closing up and try more of their menu.“
