“We came by on a Sunday afternoon after seeing this place highlighted on ABC30 and it did not disappoint. The food was a home cooked meal I didn’t have to cook. The fish tacos were incredible and my son said it was the best chicken sandwich he’s ever had. The chef was taking orders, cooking and serving. Definitely worth your time if you are looking for a place that has something for everyone.“

“Cutest breakfast spot!!! The interior is SO adorable. Got seated on a Sunday morning immediately and service was super quick! Literally ordered and got our food in 5-6 minutes. The food is standard - all the typical breakfast classics and some specialities like breakfast enchiladas and nutella crepes. I got the standard bacon and eggs and was satisfied. This breakfast doesn't rock your socks off, but it's still good. No complaints! The server continuously checked in to refill our coffee and was super friendly! The bill came by pretty fast. They actually SEASON the patty, actually cook the bacon instead of reheating it, and use good toppings.The fries are those thin twice fried French fries so they have that extra crispy outside but fluffy inside.Don't like burgers, well, you can get a variety of other meals ranging from quesadillas to rice bowls. I haven't tried those, but if they are of the same quality as the burgers, you are in for a treat!Skip the drive through, drive-ins, and burger places named after states and give this small shop a try. “This place has been here for ages, and I can't believe this was my first time coming here. It's a little underrated hole in the wall in Chinatown Fresno. The staff is friendly. I went around lunchtime, and it was pretty busy. It had 7 small tables that sat about 4 people each, and there were about 7 or 8 stools at their counter. Almost all seats were occupied, which made me feel like we chose the right spot to have lunch! The food is great, big portions and very tasty. They have breakfast and Chinese food lunch options. I tried the ham omelet, and it sat on top of hashbrowns. My plate cost about $10. It was very cheap compared to other cafes I've been to in town and the price was worth it! Give this place a try if you don't mind being in the hood.“

The servers greeted us friendly and let us know about all the items, especially that they just got their liquor license so they were serving mixed drinks. They quickly put together a table for us and a little bit later we ordered food. The tostada de jaiba was delicious. Kitchen closes at 10pm, but they also sell pupusas until 11pm. For a dinner burger you couldn't go wrong. The party of 8 had nothing but good things to say about the experience. Now for the kicker! Cigars on the patio! Four of us enjoyed 1964 Anniversary Padron's and 2oz. pours of Remy XO. For me, the ultimate night cap. Our dinner attendant checked on us for our entire 4 hrs. stay. My first experience at The Standard was incredibly impressive. Highly recommended.“

“I came here for my first brunch ever and it was so worth it! The food was incredible, the atmosphere was amazing and our server (Gisel) was the best! If you come here to enjoy a Sunday brunch and you get her, you are guaranteed an amazing and attentive service from her.
